I know OF Julia Child, but I don't know the most about her. I'm a bit more familiar with a lot of the chefs on Food Network recently.

And anyway, I wouldn't really call Julia Child a celebrity as much as an icon. And an icon is usually someone people just know. *shrugs*

What's the difference?

Celebrities are often a flash in the pan. They might be around for a while and then fade away, like a band that was a one hit wonder. Icons are people that become bigger than life, like Madonna or Micheal Jackson. Everybody knows at least one song by them.

Oh. Fair enough.

Yeah idek. I don't know Julia, but I do know Gordon Ramsay. xD

I've never watched any shows that he's in. I don't care for shows with people yelling and crap.

idek. Apparently he isn't actually a dickwad, but in the murican show, they pay him to be one 'cause ratings.

Even then, those kinds of shows are so staged. I sometimes watch those "Let me fix all your problems" type reality shows, like Bar Rescue or Tattoo rescue. Watched some of the food ones too, but the ones with Robert Irvine yelling at people. They can be interesting for some of their technical aspects, but so eye-roll worthy in other ways.

Hi hi Moonlit Freedom. Thank you. I wanted to do something green, but not the usual green and gold that most everyone else is probably going to go for. And then I splashed some other colors in and viola!

I probably won't be doing that - I don't have the time or energy to put into it right now. [sweat]

Ah, things jumped while I was reading the news. XD

I just wanted something different. I was putting all sorts of things on and taking them off and then I put these boots on and I felt like it was sort of a Magical Girl type outfit and I just went with it. :D

I don't play around with my avatar much on here, I'm starting to slowly but surely stock pile up more items that I used to have, so it's a start at least.

I don't have that many commons.

I'm tempted to buy some green ones.

But I'm also saving and poor. :I

Considering how many items I have, I don't play around with my outfits nearly enough! I just settle on a cute one and keep it for a few months!
