you can sell things online [yes]

xuvrette 07-18-2015 06:36 PM

I personally don't 'trust' online.
-__-;
I have trusting issues. O__O

hummy 07-18-2015 06:39 PM

i'm fine with selling online
the only things i don't like to buy online from a person
are hygenic items and hats *shivers* i have germ/bug issues

xuvrette 07-18-2015 06:48 PM

But everything have germs! O__O

hummy 07-18-2015 06:50 PM

true, but that's just what freaks me out

xuvrette 07-18-2015 06:52 PM

You don't sound like someone enjoying biology class. XD

Cora 07-18-2015 08:06 PM

hmm....I'm weirded out about buying footwear someone else has worn. I'm really weird about my feet.

hummy 07-19-2015 01:22 AM

i bought some shoes at the thrift shoppe
they looked brand new
i just sprayed lysol

Veno 07-19-2015 02:59 AM

don't blame you with selling things online. I'm fairly untrusting of people and the whole online process. ;o

hummy 07-19-2015 03:53 AM

i'm always too trusting

Veno 07-19-2015 04:10 AM

I use to be too trusting and in some instances I still am. But I'm not much anymore. Least not with people I can't see lol

Maria-Minamino 07-19-2015 12:00 PM

Well we sold a lot of stuff and then donated what was leftover.

Speaking of shoes...my mom bought some really nice shoes but couldn't wear them because she broke her foot and now can't wear them because she needs ones with nice support...so they were brand new and unworn...so we decided to try to sell them. I normally don't buy used footware either..or sell it...but since they were brand new, we figured, "Why not?"

There was a lady that came who had the same size shoe as my mom...she bought every pair we were selling haha....all 8 of them!

hummy 07-19-2015 02:30 PM

i'm so sorry about Mom's foot, ouchie!
but really happy the lady bought all eight pairs!
what a good deal for both of y'all, huh?

hummy 07-19-2015 02:37 PM

yeah it was

;my Godmother is a super fan of garage/estate sales
she would have scooped them all up, too.

oh a sad note her husband, my zio, passed away last week.
i keep thinking about him and was so upset i couldn't make it home
he is the joker of the family, i was riding one of their horses, pachie
he did not like to be kicked but he wouldn't move so i nudged him a little
he walked me straight into the apple orchard and wedged me up against a tree!
my zio comes running up to me and then starts laughing his butt off and turns
around running back to the house, all without helping me! i'm screaming and
crying and he comes back with my Godmother in tow carrying the camera!
he is telling me to 'smile for the birdie!' and takes my picture. what a butt!
She put that with him in his casket. i was so touched. i'm gonna miss him.

Veno 07-19-2015 03:35 PM

Maria MinaMino; Wow, totally sending your mom good vibes and hope she heals well.

hummy 07-19-2015 03:46 PM

good morning, V
how'd you sleep

Veno 07-19-2015 03:51 PM

Wish I could say well, but tossed all night. Braxston Hicks contractions have been really bothering me lately.

How about you?

hummy 07-19-2015 05:18 PM

well, no braxton hicks ;p
but, i too, toosed and turned

i started watching some scary movie
i think that prevented me from sleeping well

xuvrette 07-19-2015 05:27 PM

:< It had been going slow...

Veno 07-19-2015 05:37 PM

Some threads go slow and some threads not so much. Lol But overall the slowest event I've seen. ;o which is nice since I usually have a hard time keeping up AND I've got a lot going on in Real life.

Maria-Minamino 07-19-2015 05:46 PM

User run events are generally slower anyway.

Hummy - I am sorry for your loss :( I know how hard it can be <3

Veno 07-19-2015 05:53 PM

well this is ture. But I've been trying to be as active in threads as I can. :)

*ish so proud of Maria and Cora and all*

thanks. it's been really hard.
i usually am grateful i can't afford to fly home
this time i was overwhelmingly sad about it.
i saw him last mother's day and begged
him to stay longer, but he forgot his meds.

he is such a great person. hippie. [rofl]
he is all grey and still has his ponytail!
which i braided for him and he put
it in a bun to sleep~~@#weirdo!
