I like being pleasantly warm. This winter has been freezing.

Uh, I honestly couldn't tell you. I've never seen it snow, but I'm in Australia, so I think we're kind of devoid of snow anyway.

I was at my old gymnastics the other day and they had to cancel classes due to it being too hot but that's incredible that he told you to go home. I pretty much live for Winter. It's my favorite season.


It occasionally snows in some parts in Australia. Canberra and Tasmania mostly, I think? Just up in the mountains.

Yeah. We were a little surprised too. Until we looked in the freezer. we'd gone through two packets of icy poles in about 4 hours. We understood pretty quickly after that.

Winter is nice. the way I see it is that it's easier to get warm than it is to get cold.

Huh. So it snows a State above me and a state below me. And all I get is a bloody beach.

Australia as winter, but our winter isn't snowy. It's just wet and miserable. And occasionally boiling hot.

I believe in only snows in the snowy mountains ;)...

I think you need to be above a certain altitude for snow normally. Saying that, my home town is on the coast and it snows there sometimes.

Australia attempts winter, hahah but I like it, It's cooler than Summer!

I'm from Queesand so we just get beaches too, hah. Nothing beats hot sand and smelly salty water. >.>

Oh yeah! I forgot about Thredbo. My family was going to go on holiday there once. We didn't..

It's much better than summer. You don't get your shirt stuck to your back 3 steps out the door during winter.

I hate beaches. Love pools though. The sand gets too many places for my liking.

The North Sea is too cold for our beach to serve much purpose beyond place with sand.

Sounds not worth it.
To be cold and yet don't have snow. XD

It has been like this for the last couple of months.
Seems like everyone is getting sick & can't get over it because of the weather.

I rather deal with the moment you face before leaping out of the warm shower in Winter than sweat.

I absolutely hate sea breeze. That salt feeling up against your skin is just icky. I also hate it when spray gets in my hair. I makes it feel terrible.
All in all, beaches are not my thing at all.
Pools are much better!

I would like to get a decent snow so we could enjoy it, but then I want it gone because I hate having to work in it.

It's much better than having heat and no way to cool down. At least if it's cold, I can pile on another few layers of clothes.

I'm lucky. I don't have to deal with the cold getting out fo the shower. We have ducted heating and there's a vent right outside the door to the bathroom. It's amazing.

If there was a beach with no sand, I'd go there happily. I can handle everything else. Except the wildlife. Because I'm prettt sure it could kill me.

I don't like the saltiness of sea...
but maldive's sea is tempting...

For all of you hating on summer, you are welcome to trade places with me here in germany. It hasn't stopped snowing since October. There's salt all over the roads. Blistering cold. No sun, I haven't seen the sun in so long. WTF is sun? Everyone is pale and depressed cause of lack of vitamin D. You can't even walk to the store because it sucks so much. Forget washing your vehicles, as soon as you do the darn salt truck drives by and sprays it with salt. RUST. Ugh. Shoveling driveways, cleaning off your car, everything hurts SO MUCH MORE IN THE COLD. I hate the cold. I can't wait to get to Florida. =.= You all can have my winter and I hope that you love it, cause I hate it.

There's a little beach near where my dad grew up (still in my hometown) that is all rocks. And the wildlife is pretty much dead crabs, dead mussels and alive sea gulls.

About the only time we go to the beach is to see my mother-in-law. I hate the place she lives it is a nasty tourist trap place with too many people. I hate going to that beach there you can't enjoy it because there are so many people & it is just trashy.

I love going to the beach that my parents always took us to when I was a kid. It was wonderful & clean. It has a lot of fishermen & they make sure it stays clean.

My flatmate is German and she misses the time she lived in California.

Summer is the only season that matters to me.

"Summer" lasts a month here. 1 freaking month. 11 months of cold and no sun and rain and snow... 1 month of warm. It gets up to 85 degrees top.

Ugh. This is making me depressed and angry to be here XD
