Thanks, Kasumi. [hug] Taking some of the work off of my hands, since I have no idea how to run an art auction.

Also, the donation for the Event NPC has been made, just need to PM Seito/Jelly.

Kasumi: Alright. Will we be doing a joint auction where the winner gains art by every participating artist, or will we have what amounts more to an "auction mall", where folks can simply bid on whichever artist(s) they'd like to bid on, rather than one all-inclusive package?

Also, once we get to a more concrete planning stage for the auction, maybe we should give it its own thread for planning? <3

I like the idea of an auction mall better myself.

If we can get enough artists willing to commit to doing two pieces, we could even do both--one auction for art by all involved artists and separate auctions for each artist willing to do a second piece. (Or a third or fourth piece, if they want to offer multiple pieces in the "combined" auction--I know I'd for example be willing to offer an additional Mini-You pixel piece or a reference sketch along with the more major/significant artwork if the winning bid is over certain amounts, etc.)

The thread will be more like a auction mall. And I never thought of having a planning thread for the fundraiser. I do think it'd be easier to have it in this thread but if you guys prefer a new planning thread I'll make one.

Suppose it would depend on how much artists are involved and how much we need to discuss regarding the auction. On the one hand, everything in one thread is easier, but if we need to discuss a lot, we may end up drowning out all other planning.

Yeah, it's definitely an option to consider if a lot of artists want to participate.

How about a scavenger hunt sticky? Participants are given a list of things to find on this site and must submit the list before the event is over with. The list could start off fairly easy then the last few items could be very hard to find. Whoever finds the most items, wins!

Or even a crossword puzzle, with the answers related to Mene and the theme.

I do some pixels, but it might depend on the theme if I feel like doing any for it.

Once I get my new touchscreen laptop soon I will have more time to do art with.
