My snake doesn't seen to enjoy them dead though...besides my parents (mostly my mom) would throw a fit over having dead mice in the freezer. [lol] So live ones it is.

Yeah. I buy some mice and then get them to reproduce and wait for the babies to get large enough for feeding. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but the mice I buy grow pretty large yet the mice they produce often doesn't grow as large...lack of nutrients maybe?? [gonk]

You could always get an egg snake that eats eggs instead of mice. Not sure if they sell those in the states. I don't think there are any here where I live so it's all mice as food as far as I know.

It depends on the type of snake. A lot of egg snakes would die because they ate golf balls instead of actual eggs.

Parakeets are nice too, we had three of them a while back.

We bought two, then after they died we got another one. After that one died we haven't had any more.

I hope you get one soon! Pets are pretty comforting.

Yeah I've heard some parrots live to be around 80 or more.

Or if you get a pet without having one's shit together at least it's a great motivator to get things together. [sweat]
