I can't say I know what you're talking about. I have just started my own Labyrinth FF, but I have not read any of the others. I'll take your word for it AND agree that the world within the story of Labyrinth is amazing. "A place where everything seems possible and nothing is what it seems." /nerding out *o*

I first met Labyrinth trough Fan Fictions and that impression was lasting and great. When I got to see the movie, I was actually disappointed. The scenes the writers had cast before my eyes had been much more impressive, beautiful and well... more epic than the movie ever was, and I am not talking about old special effects, but the actor portrayal of characters and such.

Well, it WAS the 80s you know. And I may be wrong, but I've always seen it as the type of movie that was aimed for more of the young crowd.(I was about 8 years old when I first saw it and instantly fell in love with it from that point on) Labyrinth fanatics, who take the time to read up on the movie, know that the movie pretty much flopped, but it still remains a cult classic. It will definitely always be my favorite movie.

Labyrinth was pretty good, but I kinda liked Goonies better. :) But I didn't watch much tv growing up so that kinda limits my exposure to good movies.

I haven't seen Goonies in forever. I should do that again soon. :lol:

Goonies seems to be on TV like once a week here. Both Goonies and Labyrinth are favorites of mine.

I don't think I've ever seen Goonies. I've heard of it, but never got the proper opportunity to watch it. :lol:

Well...I'd never say that to anyone who doesn't like Labyrinth or any other movie that I love, even if I was joking. I just don't like when people try to make me feel stupid for loving a certain movie. It hasn't happened here, so I'm not pointing towards any menewshans, but it has happened elsewhere on the internets. I usually just shrug it off in time, but it's always so annoying at first.

Yes, I kind of understand that, but the Fics had given me the feel it's really epic, kinda serious movie. ;;>.> I hadn't imagined Bog of Eternal Stench would be forever farting. ;;>_>
But, well, I still love Labyrinth. <3 The Fic world didn't change and I will probably always love to read up some good Labyrinth fics. x3 I used to write some my self, too.
