"Just listen to the sword." He said pulling out his own sword. He stood at ready and smiled. "Ongaurd!"

" What!!!" Alice was scared she picked up the sword and held it to protect her self

"The sword will do what it wants, you just have to believe in it." He said as he swung the sword at her. Amazingly her sword countered her. "See... Keep believing!"

" Okay " Alice raised her sword and began to fight with it she loved the thrill of it all

The hatter giggled madly as he continued to fight Alice. he pulled a tea cup out of his jacket and drank as if it were some game.

" My lord hatter you are great at sword fighting" Alice smiled as she fought him

"Naturally, I was once a knight." He said smiling widely and giggling.

" really wow how amazing " alice smiled at him as she attacked him

The hatter blocked her and smiled. "The white queen made me the head knight of the castle... Ahh those were the days...."

" Maybe you will be again someday" Alice smiled as she blocked him again

"Oh that would be wonderful." He said as he Dropped his sword with a bow. "I believe your ready." He said smiling.

" really you you think I am ready?" Alice looked at him in utter shock

"Yes, now... the question is, how to go about getting to the queen with out her servants attacking you first..." he said rubbing his chin and leaning against his sword.

" I have no idea" Alice began to think of ways to sneak in

"Hmm.... The March hare would..." The hatter said then is face grew dark and he looked down sadly.

" What is wrong hatter?" Alice placed a hand on his shoulder

"He died you know... Tried to fight of the cards... was stabbed by a club.." He said his voice taking on a darker tone.

" oh my lord" Alice was shocked again

The Hatter sighed and took his hat off, his hair falling in his face.

"I wish every was the same as when i last came and the white queen was alive and ruling"

"Aye, you and me both dear." He said placing his hat back on his head.

" I must become queen so i can make things right" Alice looked out into the distance

"Yes, now the only problem, is finding out how to get in the castle.... Hmm... Maybe if you were to shrink...." He said as he lost himself in thought.

" maybe well it worked last time" Alice lost herself in her train of thought

"Hmm..." The hatter remarked walking over to the now vacant mushroom. "Tell me dear Alice, Do you remember which side made you bigger and which side made you smaller?"
