You creep carefully yet quickly down the stairs, the steps crumbling almost as fast as you use them. You're not getting back up that way. You're not too worried about being quiet since the screaming stopped when your flashlight beam hit the steps. You can hear ragged breathing, like someone who is trying to calm down after screaming, but you can't hear anything else over the howls that are still outside. Once your feet are on the floor, the basement door slams shut behind you. You whirl around, pointing your flashlight at the door as you hear the lock click on the other side. What happens next?



A) "I'm not afraid of the big bad wolf!" you yell.
B) You nearly kill yourself tripping over a sneaker on the floor in your haste to get farther away from the steps.
C) Something rolls across the floor from the dark and hits your foot from behind you. It's a gleaming red apple.

Ahh... If it isn't your thing you don't have to- but it is a fun little creativity exercise if you do give it a whirl some time this week!

If I weren't dizzy with work (and dead set in procrastinating on it through non-committal chatting D: ) I'd have at this next post. Maybe after I get some work done (I keep telling myself that...)

You nearly kill yourself tripping over a sneaker on the floor in your haste to get further away from the steps. Luckily whoever had been downstairs screaming for help caught your fall and you both tumble to the ground. It's a little old lady and she gives a faint chuckle as you both help each other to your feet. You look her over, and she looks fine. "Why were you screaming?" You ask her.

A) "I was practicing my singing for the opera"
B) "I wanted to compete with the howls outside."
C) The old lady giggles, which slowly seems to turn into a bit of a cackle.

Eh... well... I like what I do. I've just been really distracted lately - moving and helping people move home for the summertime, etc. I'm pretty excited about sinking into it, really... but I don't want to miss out on the event is the thing! xD

I'm enjoying this game. Though i decided to skip out on the actual RP one because i have so much other stuff to do. xD

I enjoy it, too, although I wanna wait til the next turn. :P

Mythos:

i really want to know the rules on that. how many people do you have to wait before you can do another story part?

New story part... like entirely? Or just waiting for another/particular color to come up?
The game is one of those forever-running types, but if you'd all like you can make it come to an end and start anew. : )

I think three color cycles would be a good place to stop for that if y'all agree to it.
