Slowly and carefully as to not alarm Sacha again, the forest fae moved and climbed up on the bed beside him. He didn't attempt any further contact since Sacha seemed to have reacted badily before and the forest fae did not wish to provoke the man. Once settled comfortably beside the other, he tilted his head to look at Sacha and spoke words that he fully understood and meant. Sacha was the man that had protected him from that blizzard nearly in exchange for his own life. "Thank you. You've helped me so much."

Kat Dakuu 11-10-2013 07:34 AM

With a wary eye, Sacha watched the creature settle down next to him. Although he tensed for a second, he otherwise did not react. He only watched the creature without ever looking away. When he heard the creature's words though, he ducked his head as his eyes went wide. The words were a shock to him and he really didn't know how to react to him. They did not immediately bring him joy as one might expect. He turned back to the creature with his brows furrowed. "I've helped you?" he asked. He had not yet made the connection between the plant creature in front of him and the plant he had protected before. Sacha shook his head. "I'm not the helping sort."

Nezume Gamakaeru 11-10-2013 08:01 AM

Sacha's reaction was unusual to the fae after all the man was the one who helped shelter him as a sprout, did he not? Was he wrong to think it was this man who helped him? The forest fae tensed up, becoming unnaturally still as he began to question what it was that he had nurtured to health and even brought to his home. The one place he could lower his guard and be safe. His lips parted a slit as he bared his teeth at the man. " What . . . were . . . you doing?" He demanded, needing to know why Sacha was out in the blizzard and near dead beside his sprout form.

Kat Dakuu 11-11-2013 02:32 AM

Sacha was only more puzzled. Surely he was missing something, but maybe he was dull, but he couldn't figure it out. Why was the creature reacting less than favorably to what he said? He leaned away slightly and pulled his knees to his chest. He stared at his knees rather than at the creature. "Doing when? I don't understand..." he asked quietly, shaking his head. What missing link was he not getting here? Or was this just language barrier?

Nezume Gamakaeru 11-11-2013 02:48 AM

Maybe he was wrong to bring this man into his forest and into his home. After all, Sacha was a man and man had ruined forests and killed so many faes. Cautiously, the forest fae climbed off the bed, never taking his eyes off from the man and backed away to the door. Shifting between baring his teeth to attempting to speak, he searched the sounds he had learned. There wasn't enough sounds. "I don't understand. What are you?" He sounded before huffing once and looked the man over as if he could suddenly change into something horrible. Horrible as man had often became.

Kat Dakuu 11-11-2013 04:48 AM

Sacha's face twisted into an expression of worry and hesitation. What to do? He couldn't stop the creature from looking at him suddenly as if he were a monster because Sacha didn't understand why this was happening. He bit his lip and looked down for a second before looking back at the other. He wouldn't try to deny he was a monster that deserved this look, but he did want to understand why. "I'm a man. I don't think that's what you want to ask though. Or maybe I should answer by saying that I'm a killer? Yes, an assassin." He was rambling now because of being put on the spot. He laughed nervously at himself, but there was pain in his voice when he called himself a killer. That was what the creature wanted to know though right?

Nezume Gamakaeru 11-11-2013 05:53 AM

The man just admited to being a killer. He was just like all the other man that had ruined all those forests and caused the deaths of so many of the forest fae's kin. The fae's bared his teeth and his roots, leaves and such stood on end again in fear that the man may attempt to harm him upon his admittance. Even though he now know what the man is, he still didn't understand why he was out in the blizzard and what happened while he was 'asleep'.

"That's not what I want to ask though," He hisses faintly between his teeth. "Why you. . . " The fae was out of sounds again. Getting frustrated, he jammed his hand out and pointed out the doorway. Trying to guesture outside, out in the blizzard before.

Kat Dakuu 11-11-2013 06:31 AM

Sacha tried not to wince at the hiss that he heard in the creature's voice. Without moving, he turned to look out the doorway, then back at the creature. For a second, he thought he was being asked to leave. After rethinking the creature's words though, he decided that wasn't it. The reaction to Sacha being a killer was just what he had expected though. A bad sort of reaction. He sighed to himself, frustrated and in a foul mood due to being upset with himself.

"Why me what? What did I do? I don't remember meeting you before now!" he exclaimed with a huff. He pulled at his hair and kept biting his lip. "How could I have helped you when the first time we met was here?"

Nezume Gamakaeru 11-11-2013 08:44 PM

The fae's eyes widened as he finally gotten some sounds that he could use properly to express what it was he was trying to get the man to know. He could see clearly how upset and worked up Sacha was getting and that would only make him ill again, if not more ill, but at this point only answers were on the fae's mind. He need to know if this man was the one that how sheltered him during the blizzard and if the fae was good in bringing him here. "I . . . remember meeting you before now. Did you help me. . . " Out of sounds again. It was starting to become difficult to make these sounds when the fae was practically full out hissing between his teeth. Change, change the ways of questioning! "What do you remember before. . . meeting me?"

Kat Dakuu 11-11-2013 11:37 PM

Finally Sacha was starting to understand. He relaxed slightly and leaned back against a tree wall because he could come up with an answer for this question. "Before meeting you?" he asked aloud, though he was saying it to himself not the creature. Indeed, what did he remember? He slipped his eyes closed, thinking back. He hadn't tried to ponder on what led him to being looked after here because there was still a bit of fog in his memories, but he could piece together most of it. "I was leaving the city and the blizzard came up so suddenly. I didn't have anywhere to go, but I found a little plant. It was so small that I wanted to protect at least that thing. Did I fall asleep there? I don't remember..." he said.

Nezume Gamakaeru 11-12-2013 04:49 AM

When the man became silent in his attempts to recall, the fae never relaxed. He remained unnaturally still and stared holes into the man. When he finished the fae's body trembled as the tension was worked out of his stem and roots, he gazed at Sacha softly. "You fell asleep. . . could have died." He spokes faintly and blinked slowly at Sacha. "You. . . protect me. . . a little plant. . . you found. You've helped me so much. You . . . don't remember?"

Kat Dakuu 11-12-2013 07:45 AM

For a few long seconds, Sacha just stared at the creature. His brain was sometimes a bit slow to work and he was trying to wrap his head around what had been said to him. Also, he was trying to wrap his head around how he could be so dense, since he also thought he had been a bit too slow to put these pieces together. "You're a plant," he said bluntly, no question in his voice. Of course he had realized that before, but how he realized just what plant this creature was. He dropped his face into his hand and groaned. "I didn't realize you and the plant were the same." The knowledge that he had nearly died did not make an impact on him although he didn't think he had been so bad. He was more concerned with the knew knowledge about the plant creature.

Nezume Gamakaeru 12-08-2013 09:31 AM

If the recent events and the man's reactions weren't strange enough, this one further confused the forest fae. It seemed if there were attempts to fully understand the man, they could prove futile. Enough still, the answers he desired were given and so he relaxed thoroughly. Not wanting to disturb the man any more than he already has, the fae ceases his questions and turns to prepare a soothing drink for Sacha. The questions must have put strain on the other's body and rest is important now.

Kat Dakuu 12-09-2013 01:36 AM

Sacha watched the creature and sighed to himself. Did they finally have an understanding now? He wasn't sure anymore about anything. He was good at proving himself to be stupid, so he decided he would try to be more observant from now on. He relaxed and simply observed since he was happy enough to give his mind a rest. As he watched the creature though, he watched with a different sort of gaze. Now Sacha knew a little more about him and it only made him more fascinated, a bit more in admiration. A creature that could survive a blizzard as a little plant, then turn into such a fascinating being as he was now. Wasn't this creature something much more impressive than a human?

Nezume Gamakaeru 12-10-2013 08:18 AM

Preparing the drink from Sacha, the forest fae picked up the bowl and lifted it out close to his amber eyes, examining it closely. With a slow blink, he was satisfited with what he saw and brought the bowl to the man. Holding it out, he held it carefully as to not want to alarm the man again with the physical contact. It seems that this one will be cautious for now on. "It good. You . . . sleep." He spoke slowly, not desiring to confuse or put strain on Sacha through sounds again.

Kat Dakuu 12-11-2013 01:19 AM

Sacha took the drink and sipped, still watching the creature with fascination. There was so much more he wanted to ask, things he wanted to say. Now wasn't the right time for it though, not after the situation had just cooled down from intensity. "Alright, I'll sleep," he said, although he didn't quite feel tired enough for it. "Good night creature." Sacha curled up on the bed and lay there for a minute, not yet closing his eyes. What would the next day bring? Even he couldn't tell.

Nezume Gamakaeru 12-14-2013 08:52 AM

As Sacha drank the liquid down and got comfortable again, the fae stepped from the bed and seated himself upon the floor. He sat how he had before when he 'slept' but he did not sleep. He listened for any oustide sounds that would indicate curious beings or hostile ones coming to investigate the man's scent again. When Sacha spoke again, he tilted his head and listened to every sound, memorizing each one. He then returned to previous listening, his ears twitched at a sound. Perhaps those wolf pups had communed with the rest of the pack about the forest fae's earlier behavior? He silently hoped not, it would be difficult to keep Sacha safe and calm if there was a pack fight. Still, he sat and listened more intently. It was silent.

Kat Dakuu 12-15-2013 06:02 AM

Sacha slept for a few hours before he startled awake again. He thought he had heard a noise, or at least, that was normally the reason he would wake up tense. As he listened now though, he could hear nothing. His instincts caught the presence of the creature nearby, but Sacha did not think that was what woke him. Then what? Without thinking more on it, he drifted back into sleep. He would try to ask the creature about it tomorrow, although he was sure it wasn't important at all. Every experience he had with the forest were peaceful ones.

Nezume Gamakaeru 05-20-2014 07:57 AM

The had not rested, he stayed aware and alert for the sake of this man, Sasha. Standing out near the edge of the clearing, the fae stood guard for the young wolf pups that seemed to desire disturbance in the forest, especially with the man that rested in the fae's home. There had been no sounds, nothing, not a rustle of leaves, groans of the old trees nor sounds of life. This silence disturbed the fae greatly and as he would normally investigate the cause of the silence, he couldn't bare to leave Sasha alone for long.

Kat Dakuu 05-20-2014 07:20 PM

Sacha awoke with the dawn and stretched out. A glance around the room showed he was alone. Not feeling disturbed by this, he slowly got up and popped his sore muscles. His head felt clear and his body strong, almost like it felt before the blizzard. He knew this was the point he should leave, but he hesitated to go. He glanced to the door. He was bound to his life by duty and fear, love and respect. Yet here, he felt free from all of that. He would hate to leave it, but he knew he must. He searched the space until he found his weapons and he stood there, staring at the silver blade still tinted with the remains of his last kill.

Nezume Gamakaeru 05-21-2014 01:24 AM

Leafy ears twitched at the sounds of movement, sounds from behind the fae. Body going still, he listened even more intently. Movement, breaths, and rummaging, the fae's surface rippled as the tension was relieved from his body when it was realized that the man had awoken. The fae stayed where he stood though, anxious about the unnatural silence still.

Kat Dakuu 05-21-2014 01:50 AM

Sacha didn't know how long he stood staring, but when nothing changed, he sheathed his weapon in the strap against his arm. The straps remained against his fore and upper arm despite the time he spent with the fae. As much as he waited for it though, nothing came to stop him. He pushed open the door and headed out into the forest, hoping to get away without being noticed.

Nezume Gamakaeru 05-21-2014 02:33 AM

The fae heard every move that the man made and his eyes narrowed ever so slightly in confusion. The man had left the place of living and was. . . going in a direction that made little sense. Sudden his whole being went tense when he realized what was happening. There was a short sudden gust of wind as the fae rushed over to the man and stopped behind him. He stared hard at the back of Sasha's head, boring his eyes through that hair as if searching for the reason why he would leave just like that. "What are you. . . you are leaving? You need rest."

Kat Dakuu 05-21-2014 02:41 AM

Something moved, sending Sacha's senses on alert. He tensed, then suddenly a quick movement had the fae right behind him. Sacha jumped as he spun to face the creature. In his surprise, he nearly tripped over a tree root. A warm flush spread over his face and for a second, he gaped open mouthed as words failed him. The embarrassment he felt at being caught shamed him even deeper. He didn't know if he could leave with the creature's warm eyes on him. "I...I have to go. Thank you for helping me, but I can't stay."

Nezume Gamakaeru 05-21-2014 02:51 AM

Brows furrowed as he otherwise remained unmoving, the fae gazed down at the man whose reaction only heightened the creature's confusion. Those sounds that Sasha made created a sensation inside the fae's chest, causing it to rise and fall in anxiety. In short, sharp movements, the amber eyes looked the man over and over again. Lips parting again and again, he didn't understand why this senstation was effecting him so. "Why. . . can't. . . you stay?" He questioned carefully, picking the sounds the fit best.
