I washed my hair last night -- This is what I woke up and saw this morning when I went into the bathroom get rest for my day.... Typical (that is what it usually looks like after I take a shower and sleep on it wet).
So I tried to make it look more presentable: Definitely better! Still poofy, but when is my hair not poofy. :P |

Oh my gosh, my first selfie here. D: OMG. There's a "comic convention" coming up here in May, and I'm going as a Krylorian from Guardians of The Galaxy. Normally, I'd do an actual cosplay, but this time I'm being lazy. I was going to go as Gamora, but I knew if I started working on it now, I wouldn't finish by the first Saturday in May. |

From the makeup talk from earlier - I gotta say I don't put it on to hide myself behind layers of makeup because society demands it. My eyelashes are blond and so are my eyebrows. So blond you literally can't see them unless you are like 1 foot in front of me. It makes me look REALLY young - like 12 years old...that, coupled with my height, gets me in trouble in terms of the age thing - people assume I'm a minor when I go out to eat or to the movies, etc.
I put on eyeliner and mascara just to enhance my eyes a bit and show that I DO have eyelashes...it also makes me look about 17 instead of 12. So that's a nice step up :) I don't do it to hide. I do it to enhance. And besides, I really like the result of how my blues eyes pop with brown lashes...they look washed out with the blond. |
