Sweet dessert pies are probably more popular in the US. When I was younger, it was chicken or pork pies for me (a local version of the British pies I like to think). Later on, when I was in Australia, huge meat pies are a thing there. They like to eat them with ketchup too.

Haha. I had a kiwi boyfriend who got really confused when I told him about sweet pies.

Yeah, it was quite an enlightening event for me too, when I first found out about sweet pies. [rofl]

Though now that I think about it, the only ones I've eaten before are apple and walnut.

I am not sure about the demon dice, Dystopia. Was thinking of doing just a raffle. Not sure how long this mini event will last and I want to hang onto the high end items I have for larger events.

My favorite sweet pie is strawberry rhubarb followed closely by pumpkin. nom nom.

Pi day is tomorrow! 3.14.

I've never had a walnut or rhubarb pie. I don't know what my favorite is.

The event will last throughout the weekend and probably end some time Monday. :B
And events are best times for that! Everyone in one place, you get to meet lots more people that way. Pi Day is held on March 14 to commemorate the math constant, 3.14etc. There's more information here on Wiki: Pi Day - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello, Neph! I've never had either strawberry rhubard nor pumpkin. I don't think rhubarb is a thing here, I've never seen one. D:

I gotcha now...clever. Never paid much attention to it before now. I will have to remember it going forward. Almost wonder if I had a kid and it could be born on 3.14 what kind of stupid name I could come up with for it. Hmmm.... Dutchess Apple.... oh I know! Lattice Apple!

Celery tastes like dirt in the first place.
As for Strawberry Rhubarb pie, that's my mom's favorite and I like Chocolate Cream Pie. Yum

I wouldn't say sweet. More tart. The pie has lots of sugar in it so it's like zingy sweet like a lemony desert would be.

I've seen that too, kids named Apple. Generally some Actress or Actor's fugly kid.

Can you imagine how badly my kid would be teased for having the name Dutchess?

I will have to ask my Dad, He is a chemist, or rather a real rocket scientist, I bet he would know. He does also make model rockets and his own rocket fuel he uses titanium flakes to get it to sparkle, but it is white not green.... I suppose4 you could look up what makes it green in fireworks.
