[[I was scared to check that. But it was funny. XD]]

Anthony could see she was scared to trust him. He had a chance to over power her now, but she still held a sword. He had her until he drew his hand from his pocket empty. She would know he'd tricked her then. He needed a little more trust from her. He would have to show her the gem. He cleared his throat and pulled his hand out. "Sorry. Wrong pocket." This time, he reached down to the edge of his trousers, where the hidden pocket was, and pulled out the necklace. "Here," he said, reaching out to hand it to her. As he set it in her hand, he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her off-balance. He grabbed her other hand, pulling the sword out of her hand.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 12:28 AM

Clutching the gemstone tightly in her palm, Rhianwen was about to pull back and make her leae without drawing her blade to him, but he seized her once more, making her struggle and tug at her captor. "You snake! Unhand me right now!" she shouted, using her right foot to step on his instep, the top of his food where it was most sensitive. His toes would be a good target too. She fought, hand balled tight around the gem, reaching only for her sword.

Sforzando 07-18-2010 12:59 AM

Anthony now had both swords. Let her have the damn opal. Wasn't that pretty anyway. It's not like he had actually wanted it. He had the upper hand, even though Rhianwen had a knife. This is ridiculous! He was tired of fighting with the wench. It was exhausting. Fine. Let the sharks have her. He opened the door and walked out, leaving her alone. He may let the sharks eat the prett girl, but he was keeping the sword for himself.

Anthony smiled, seeing Jasper just outside his door in the dark, a little ways down the hall. The girl wouldn't notice him. She'd go for his back. At least, that's what Anthony was hoping on. He also hoped Jasper would grab her before she could.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 01:07 AM

Tying the chain of the gemstone to the inside of her kirtle, Rhianwen gae chase to the captain. He kept stealing her sword, and she was not letting him get away with it. Even if he seemed tired of her and like he could care less what happened to her now, she couldn't leave without her affects.

Failing to notice the large, sturdy mute, she aimed the dagger at his upper back, sprinting as adrenaline rushed through her, getting within 5 inches of the captain before being tackled to the floor once again. "DAMMIT! Just give me my things and I'll leave you be! Fine! I promise not to try and kill you or your filthy piggish crew! Let me go!"

Sforzando 07-18-2010 01:37 AM

Anthony pivoted. Thank God! He looked up briefly in acknowledgement of a diety. No. Thank Jasper. "Eh," he said, thinking. "No. I do think we'll give you the sword back yet." He pried her fingers from the knife. "I can't hold you to your promise. However, you can hold me to mine. I never break a promise. So, you will not be sexually harmed by any of my men. However, if you want, we can always throw you overboard, since you seem to prefer sharks." Jasper held her off the ground, one arm across her waist, the other over her chest, binding her arms to her sides. He shifted to his other foot in anticipation. He liked throwing people overboard.

Anthony placed a finger under her chin and lifted her eyes to his. Grasping her chin, he turned her head from side to side, eximining the cut on her face, no doubt cause by Gil. Gil always went for the face. Then he ran his fingers through her long, red hair. At the nape of her neck, he grabbed a handful of her hair and pulled her head back. "I promise you, if you lay your hands on another weapon on my ship again, I will not spare you next time. I promise, love. And I always keep my promises." He let go of her hair and gently patted her cheek.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 01:51 AM

Struggling in Jasper's arm's, she glared at the captain, hissing as he came close and touched her. The female cringed ah his hands, his fingers made contact, likening his touch to a burn or a slimy bug. She almost looked nauseous at his hands, for all the world appearing like she'd rather bite her own hand off than be touched by the captain. As his hands buried in her red blonde hair, she gasped, growing stiff. "Don't....touch me...don't call me love." she snarled, flinching and trying to bite as he patted her cheek. Her cheeks burned a slight red.

"You..have not given me a chance to show if you can trust me to keep a promise. I swear on my honor and innocence I will not try to kill or maim you or your crew if you gie back what rightfully belongs to me." she finally said.

Sforzando 07-18-2010 02:05 AM

Anthony pursed his lips. "Hmmm...I don't know. You see, how am I to know how innocent you really are? How am I to know you weren't sleeping with half the men in that little hole in the mountain you call a village?" He took his sword out of it's sheath and tossed it in his room, of which the door was still open. Then he put Rhianwen's sword in his sheath. He licked his lips. And, she could be planning on just out right killing them. No try. Do. At least, that's probably the way she was thinking.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 02:11 AM

Face burning red in anger, the female growled low in her throat, a feral sound as she balled her hands into fists. "You filthy jackass. Unlike you and those bugs you call men who work under you, I have honor and pride, and I don't flaunt myself so shamelessly. I am keeping myself to give to the one person I can care about, the one person who I feel it is worth giving to.
I have found no such person thusfar in life. If you hadn't so cruelly slaughtered almost eeryone there, perhaps you could ask and verify for yourself. I have my virtue, and I intend to keep it. Now hand me that blade, it doesn't belong to you." she took a step forward, fully intending on wrestling him for it.

Sforzando 07-18-2010 02:32 AM

Jasper tightened his grip on her when she tried to move forward. He grunted angrily.

Anthony took a step back. He rolled his eyes. "Pirate," he reminded her again. "We don't care if something's not ours. You should know this by now. Really, love, I don't know why I have to keep repeating myself." And he didn't want to have to repeat himself again. He was tired of this ridiculous fighting.

He looked at her outfit, soiled and ripped in several places. "Jasper, the lady needs a new outfit. I take it you can find her something nice down in the storage room?" Jasper grunted. "Good, then you can leave the lady with me. I shall be able to take care of myself, I think." Jasper grunted and dropped Rhianwen. Anthony immediately grabbed her by the wrist, jerking her arm behind her back and forcing her face against the wall, his arm on the back of her neck. "Just a precaution, love. Don't want to find my self losing things. Now, love, you gonna behave?"

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 02:56 AM

"Stop calling me that!" she shouted, squirming as he grabbed her wrist. Feeling herself slammed to the wall, Rhianwen struggled, but soon went still. She was tired. Tired of this crap, tired of having to fight and have it be for naught, tired of dealing with this infuriating man, tired of being on his ship. "Dammit........bloody hell....." she cursed, squeezing her eyes shut and aovoiding the man.

In truth, she nearly felt like crying, and her eyes threatened to do so as they grew watery. She forced it back. Shivering under his hold, Rhianwen cursed herself for being too weak to beat this and take back her pride, her things, and her freedom. "Dammit all!" she bit her lip, trying to ignor the fact she was pinned to a wall.

Sforzando 07-18-2010 03:01 AM

Anthony smiled. Now we're getting somewhere. Finally. He didn't loosen up though, for fear she'd try to overtake him again. "Now. You want you're father's sword back. You can have it back. In a little while. And I promise I won't use it to kill any innocent villager. Just for you, love." He pulled her other arm back so he could hold them both, only he was more gentle about it. He pulled her away from the wall and walked her back into his room.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 03:05 AM

"Bastard..." she whispered, but otherwise let him drag her hating herself almost as much as him at the moment. Hands balled into fists, she clenched her jaw shut, trying her best to not rise to this man's taunts. He pissed her off no doubt.
"So you intend to kill me, sell me, or toss me on an island...fucking fantastic....."

Sforzando 07-18-2010 03:14 AM

Anthony laughed as he tied her hands behind her back. "Oh, love, you really have no idea what it means to be a pirate, do you? I'm not going to kill you, rape you, throw you overboard, sell you, or toss you on an island," he mocked. "Though I have thought about it several...thousand...times." He sat her on his bed and then sat on a chair facing her. His hands rested on his thighs. "Now...I don't know what I'm going to do with you anymore, because after eliminating those options, that only leaves one, and that is to set you free. However, I don't like that option, either. So, I think I'll just keep you as a prisoner for a while. I don't know. Maybe I'll set you free." He shrugged. "Don't know. But I know you piss me off royally. No doubt I piss you off, too. Hmmm...This is quite the dilema." He leaned back in his chair.

"Now," he thought out-loud. "Why did I capture you in the first place?" The question was as much for her advantage as it was for his. "You're a woman...who can handle a sword brilliantly for having no training, I assume, living in that little village that you did." He was never going to make that mistake again. From now on, no more women aboard. Especially ones that weild swords.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 03:22 AM

Rhianwen began to fumble with the knots again, trying not to smirk. She'd keep to herself for now, but rope was useful, and if she felt a need to, could strangle the man with it. Granted, being unable to see was a challenge, as it was the first time, but she'd manage, he wasn't as skilled as the person who tied her the first time.

Glaring at him as he spoke, she scooted to the oppossite side of his bed, further from him. "Good." she muttered as he mentioned how much she drove him crazy. Too bad he couldn't get sick or something from being pissed off. That would amuse her.

"Stop calling me love." hissed the girl, frowning. "I can weild a blade, because my father had started teaching me a few months before he died. That sword is mine. He told me to keep that one of his until he forged me my own..he never got to finish it..."

Sforzando 07-18-2010 03:28 AM

Anthony got up from his seat and grabbed his sword off the bed. Then he went around the room and grabbed every other weapon he could find. No doubt, she'd be trying to escape right now. Dropping the weapons in front of the door, he grabbed his chair and set them over the top of them. He sat down again, leaning back, two legs off the ground. "Uh huh. That's a wonderful story. Like I said. You'll get your sword back. Eventually. I'm not going to damage it. You know, I can see you squirming. There's really nothing you can do when you untie it. I'll still be here." He picked up a dagger and rubbed his thumb along the edge to see how sharp it was. His thumb welled up with blood. He touched the tip and pricked his finger. Yeah, it was sharp.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 03:37 AM

Rhianwen scoffed at his stupidity. If he wanted to test the blades on his own skin instead of say, a piece of meat or some fruit or wood or something, fine by her. It did piss her off that he gathered the pile of weapons and kept them with her, making any potential ideas should the need arise become much less effective. Untying the knots, she held the rope to her, keeping it as a potential tool. "Hn, why bother tying me then?" she sneered, getting up and moving to the oppossite side of the room, distrust and anger in her eyes.

Sforzando 07-18-2010 03:43 AM

Anthony shrugged. "Well, for one, if you hadn't been tied, I wouldn't have had time to gather anything you could use to try and kill me." He tossed the knife back into the pile under his chair. He almost made that deal with her, the one where she wouldn't try to kill them if he gave her her sword back. But, with him being a pirate and all that, he'd learn not to trust anyone. He wasn't lying when he said he never broke a promise. "As it stands, I have no idea what to do with you. What do you suggest?" Let me go. Give me my sword back, he mocked.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 03:48 AM

"You know the answer boy." she retorted, scowling and giving the rope a few good flicks, cracking it like a whip. "Fool." she muttered, eying him warily. She had honestly intended on keeping her oath, had he gien her what she wanted and allowed her to walk free. As such, the man seemed intent on keeping her, the asshole he was. Fine. She'd continue to treat him like shit.

Sforzando 07-18-2010 03:56 AM

"Fine. Then I guess I'll just do what I want with you." He frowned. What did he want? "Well. Erasing this past day or two, we'll just go back to the beginning. We'll continue hating each other, no doubt, but I want to go back and offer you what I had initially intended on offering. First, you can either sleep here, or in the brig. Second, you can have your sword back and become a probationary part of my crew, or you can stay a captive and not have your sword back." His mind wandered to the treasures supposedly lost in those islands caves. The way the sun would sparkle on them when they were finally brought out into the light for the first time in decades. With another crew member, he'd have to share it with her, too...But, some of his crew had been killed back at the village, so...Maybe it was worth it.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 04:10 AM

"You'll let me go with my affects." she muttered, before looking up at his words. Gripping a chair with her hands, balling them into tight fists, she snarled. "Fine. I'll work on your stupid ship with you and your stupid men...I'll help on the ship and be the medic, but I will not kill anyone I deem innocent and undesering of slaughter, and I won't offer help on such ocassions..." decided the female, the fire back in her teal eyes.

Sforzando 07-18-2010 04:18 AM

Anthony stroked his chin. "Medic. Hmmm... Yeah... I like that. We've never had a medic before. How about this? We keep stealing whatever we want, but we won't kill any innocents? And you will be our medic. But you don't get any of the loot unless you help steal it." He shouldn't be bargaining with this wench. It was his ship. He could do what he wanted. Why was he trying to make her happy?

Anthony's nose twitched when he realized something. He didn't really want to kill those people. He wasn't particularily blood-thirsty. He just hated opposition. They got in his way. And his men loved to use their weapons.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 04:27 AM

"Do I look like I give a crap for you and your money and loot?" asked the female, arms folded across her chest. Why was she accepting..to get her sword, yes, but why else? for a thrill? for something different? No, not likely. Rhianwen would ditch the pirate crew the first chance she got. As soon as they got to decent land, she'd book it, leaing the asshole and his crew behind to wander the seas for the rest of their days. Yeah, that seemed like a good plan.

"Fine, I'll behave and not kill, maim, or disable anyone....you keep your runs clean and to the point."

Sforzando 07-18-2010 06:56 PM

Anthony didn't want to give her her sword back just yet. Trust was still an issue here. Reluctantly, he unsheathed her sword and flipped it around so he was holding it by the blade. He felt verfy vulnerable at this end. Before he held it out to her, he raised and eyebrow and leaned towards her. "Promise? You swear? How do I know you will not turn on me as soon as I hand this over?" At least she didn't care about the treasure.

stealthpanther 07-18-2010 10:02 PM

Rhianwen scoffed, taking the hilt in her hands. "I assure you, my honor, pride, honesty and virtue is greater than yours, fool." Taking the blade back before he could change his mind, she gave him a slight nick, barely a centimeter, with the tip of the plade in his palm as she took it back, innoccent enough to make it seem an accident.

Once the sword was in her hands, she clutched it tightly, looking up at the man with obvious longing to hurt him, but she stilled her shaking hands, tying the sword to the sheath meant for it on her back.

Sforzando 07-18-2010 10:14 PM

Anthony pulled his hand back and shook it, hissing as he did. His palm started to bleed. She did that on purpose. He glared then licked his hand. It hadn't hurt when he'd tested the dagger on his thumb because he knew it was coming. That was sudden and not welcome. He bared his teeth. "You may be more virtuous than me, but as a pirate, I have to question everyone's virtue. As a pirate, can I really trust anyone?"

He reached down and found his own sword in the pile, carefully sheathing it.
