Haha yes. ^^

----------

Oh would you like me to upload the stamp style Logo? It has a white background though.

----------

I have the logos but the one I used for the big banner is a little different.

Cicadetta 09-05-2010 10:38 PM

If you like. I'm going with the little circle logo for my affiliate banner, though. I like the transparent background. :)

Soda 09-05-2010 10:40 PM

Well only if you want to use it, that stamp one isn't for the banners but like a header sign.

Cicadetta 09-05-2010 10:42 PM

Ahh, okay. Well, my affiliate banner's done, at least. Is this what you had in mind for that?

Soda 09-05-2010 10:43 PM

Sure thing, it's hard to go wrong with the logo. x3

Cicadetta 09-05-2010 10:43 PM

 Very true! Okay, on to my personal bannerage and then I can set up my MMN space!

Soda 09-05-2010 10:45 PM

Lol I should go do that. Haha I'll be over in mine for a bit. X3

Cicadetta 09-05-2010 10:46 PM

Sounds good! I just have to figure out who I want to put this particular banner. It's not like they're themed, exactly, beyond one veteran artist and one younger. Um, except for the artist listing one. Hrm.

I'm sure. Not that it didn't deserve the air time.

That's what the thread is for, right? :) And no problem. I know all about the list of CDs thing. The newest Sarah McLachlan album tempted me quite a bit at the store today, but there are other albums I want more than that one. One of these days I'll hit Amazon and stock up.

Um, with KT's... Let's see, the first one is quieter and more introspective. There are some louder indie pop/rock-like tracks, too, but for the most part, Eye to the Telescope is pretty spare. In a good way, don't get me wrong. Um, Drastic Fantastic is loud right out of the gate, with more emphasis on that indie pop/rock sound than the quieter acoustic stuff. Acoustic Extravaganza is, well, acoustic, recorded in someone's living room in Scotland, and it's definitely the most raw of the three. I love it. There's a Beck cover on it, too, if you like that sort of thing. They're all good, just very different.

Thanks! I'll look into that second one. You just saved me a lot of time.
So this brings my CD wishlist up to... 15. Not counting all the artists where I know I want more from them, but just haven't decided on what album to get yet.

Oh, and here's another female artist I forgot to mention in my first post. MIA.

Soda 09-05-2010 11:18 PM

MIA! Paper Planes. I love/am addicted to that song on and off. :squee:

----------

Well I'm all set up, I just need your banner Cica ^^

Cicadetta 09-06-2010 12:18 AM

XD No problem, Cherry! And I like this! I don't listen to enough Hip Hop. The genre continues to surprise me. Case in point: Ana Tijoux.

I posted my affiliate banner a few posts ago. Just have to finish my MMN one! (Had to go eat dinner. Sorry for the delay.)

Soda 09-06-2010 12:44 AM

Hmm yes. I should have thought of that lol!

You like the way I set it up? I find it annoying to make posts look food of forums. Good by a web designer standard lol...

Cicadetta 09-06-2010 12:49 AM

Yeah, I do like it! Linked to it from mine, too. Because redundant information is redundant and woah, my iTunes is very different now... oO This will take some getting used to.

Soda 09-06-2010 01:00 AM

Thats a really cool song btw Cica. *listening to it now*

Itunes update?

Cicadetta 09-06-2010 01:02 AM

Which song? The feature, or the one I just posted?

Yeah, they updated the program. I just installed it, and... well, the interface looks a bit different now. Shows album art and stuff. Definitely will take some getting used to?

Soda 09-06-2010 01:03 AM

Ana Tijoux..

Ah well you'll prolly like that once you get used to it. ^^
Nice section! I think you might have put it better then me. Lol

Cicadetta 09-06-2010 01:04 AM

Yeah. She really did take me by surprise. XD I think it was a discovery download on iTunes. Those are often better than the Singles of the Week!

Hm, probably. And thanks! I just put it a different way. It's not any better, really.

Soda 09-06-2010 01:09 AM

I like it a lot. That was me for YouTube - Nujabes - Letter From Yokosuka

Cicadetta 09-06-2010 01:13 AM

Ohh, this is pretty, Soda! Not one for the listing, but I'm definitely bookmarking it!

Soda 09-06-2010 01:25 AM

Yeah I was surprised ^^

Cicadetta 09-06-2010 01:33 AM

Gotta love it when that happens. :P

Oh, jeez, did I last change the featured video yesterday or Tuesday? :gonk:

Soda 09-06-2010 01:50 AM

I... Don't remember lol xD

Cicadetta 09-06-2010 01:52 AM

I think it was just yesterday, because I'm sure I added that banner earlier than that. Just got mixed up, that's all.

That was good, too! :)

Soda 09-06-2010 03:38 AM

By the way, my favorite part about that Ana Tijoux video was the fact they used Kenetic typography. And the used it well. x3
