That would be awsome! What anime are you using in it??? I'd totally watch it.
I should try to make an AMV with some FOB songs... |

PETE WENTZ IS SO FREAKIN HOTTTTTT! I DONT CARE WHAT YALL SAY... HES HOT AND FALL OUT BOY ROCKS MY SOCKS! :D
|
Pete is very hot! And his spins and jumps he does at conserts are so cute!
|
I wish I knew how to make music videos, there's one song I really want to match up with a video game (it's not Fall Out Boy--some of their songs are awesome like You're Crashing but You're No Wave, I just don't know what it'd go with).
|
That sounds very cool! I wish you luck on finding out how to make one.
|
I've only heard their first cd but judging from that I think their music is ok.
|
I really like Fall out Boy O.o; I know a lot of people hate them but I dont really know why. Their music sounds happy and neat, and its catchy and fun! I have no idea how it is considered emo.
|
I like their lyrics quite a bit, and they have a good sound to go with it.

I found it!
A thread about FOB! :D I love them. They're my heroes. Their music really got through to me because the lyrics don't just group emotions into brood catagories, i.e. love, hate, jealousy. They actually specify what a certain kind of emotion is like and add sound. Thats why the titles of their song are essays. Just lumping love and lust together is not enough. For example, the song "My Heart Is The Worst Kind Of Weapon" Isn't just about the pain of being cheated on. It shows progression of feelings from guilt to anger to drunk to vengence to finally loss. And for those of you who hate on These boys, I will defend them in every way humanly possible. |
I love them but they have become so mainstream there music only gets worse the more they have to push out but they are so great and the lyrics are always good so far i hope that will never change!

Aiyuuji - Their music doesn't get worse as they get more mainstream. o_O; It's been getting more complex and unique. They've been adding different types of instruments, too. I think they're more creative than ever, now. |
Up until very recently, I completely despised them, because I was holding onto what shreds of music snobbery I could still cling to after falling in love with Akon and Panic! at the Disco.
Then, like a week ago, I was discussing their lyrics with a friend, and I was like. "... Okay, so some of their lyrics are pretty clever..." and... I watched a few of their videos, which I haven't done for a while, and I was like, "... Well, alright... they're sort of funny..." and then... um... well, yesterday, I downloaded a whole bunch of their songs and anyway, I really like them. xD The two friends who I informed laughed at me, but I found out that my girlfriend listens to them anyway, so ha! :] I feel gewd! ... I still have some problem with some of their fans, and Pete Wentz scares the hell out of me... but I can pretty much enjoy their music now. And that is my epic story of FOB. >>; Which, by the way, I hate calling them, because... FOB? What the eff, that's not attractive at all. |
I bought this CD since I was looking for something different than what I usually listen to. I actually really enjoyed it. The lyrics were emotional and all the songs are easy to listen to. I'm really glad I picked this up.

TheSatah - I'm glad to hear you now like them! :o
They do have some pretty clever lyrics. And I can totally understand not wanting to like them because of the bad name some teeniebopper, trend-following fans give other fans. Just remember... "Bandwagon is full; please catch another" and "Crowds are won and lost and won again, but our hearts beat for the diehards." They don't like the teenie-fans either. Patrick has said before, he'd much rather discuss music with a fan than how hot the girl standing ten feet from them is. Oh, and Pete is a douche, so don't pay him any mind. XD I mean, he's a pretty good lyricist for the most part. And he can be entertaining. And I DO think he's got a good attitude about the music business, BUT he is a bit of an idiot and a bit of a jerk-off at times. I've got a love-hate relationship with the guy. Sometimes I just want to smack him, and sometimes he makes me smile. It's nice to know that fame hasn't done that to him...the other guys insist he's ALWAYS been how he is. And stuff friends of his that he had before they were famous has said, and videos I've seen lead me to believe it's the truth. And if you don't like "FOB" then don't call them that? XD Fall Out Boy isn't that hard to type. dj-jezzi - Which CD? o_O; There are at least six CDs you could be talking about. |
I like Fall Out Boy. I get so tired of people calling them sellouts. Would you rather listen to Nickelback, then?
|
Oh, I was referring to their latest one as discussed in the beginning of this thread ;) (Infinity on High). Hope this clarification helps.
