CATS!

I personally love cats. I think their character is wonderful, I love how independent they are, and there is something about them which is very exquisite.
Then again, I also love dogs, and I love our pup just as much as my cat. But cats in general just top the bill for me, although I do not like the ones with the flat faces, I do not find them appealing. The same with dogs. |
I used to like both of them equally, but I think I'm more of a dog person now. The cats that we currently have just annoy me. (Well, two out of the three.) They stink so badly, or rather they make the house smell bad.
As for pictures, I obsess over my dog and take fifty pictures of her, but here's one. http://i50.tinypic.com/ie1176.jpg It's about a year old, but she hasn't really changed that much in five years or so, so in theory I could post the oldest picture I have of her and you would get the idea. xD |
@TinyAngelSelphie
I love your dog picture! She is so cute! |
I've merged this thread with a preexisting one of similar topic. :)

My mom LOVES dogs. Have more than 6 dogs at a time, sometimes even more [up to 12 once] all year is rather annoying. Not saying I hate dogs, but being around dogs for so long makes me want to have a cat.
I love cats. My cat died 6 years ago from cancer [She died peacefully in her sleep] and I miss her terribly. I want another cat while in college so I can have a companion again. Mom says I shouldn't get a dog cause they are more work, which is true. Cats are easier in some way. I like both, but cats are preferred. C: |
I personally like dogs better, and have never been much of a cat person. I think cats are cute and all, but not as I guess friendly, but then again it could depend on the cat. I don;t really have anything against them, I've never really been in the company of one for more than a day so I am unsure about how i feel as having them as pets.
|
I prefer dogs, you can bond with them better than with a cat.
Cats dont really pay that much attention to you plus cat's claws are very sharp... |
I like dogs more. Than again I'm allergic to cats... So... lol... Cats are cute and what not, but I just don't like them.
Dogs seem smarter to me, and are more eager to learn and be at your side all the time. |
I like dogs better. They seem to care about you more than cats do. I used to have 6 dogs. But my parents gave away the big dogs. Now we have 3 chihuahuas and a pug. I miss my big dogs. I think they were mixed breed. I never knew what they were.

Dogs. They're alot more easy for me to manage the cats. I currently have a big Alaskan Huskie named Wiggles. He is a very good boy. |
Personally, I can't say I like dogs or cats more. Both can be loving in their own ways, and a pet can love you, no matter if it's a dog or cat. Some cats are solitary, and other dogs are retarded, and hyper-active. Currently I have a cat that knows how to sit, stay, and roll over, and he growls when the door bells rings and he doesn't know who it is. So I'm pretty content with my cat/ dog creature.

I'm a cat person. Cats are so individual and they can be grumpy or really sweet! You have to really work to be their friends, whereas dogs just have masters.
|
I prefer...both.
I like cats cause they are generally quite and they are nice to have around. Low-maintenance. Jumping around. And them purring is quite nice. Dogs tend to bark more; and that is understandable. If I were unable to talk that would suck. And unlike purring, a dog's bark tends to be a lot louder. Also you have to take them out every day or so. High maintenance in that sense. Plus if I were to have a cat, my parents would allow me to keep the cat in my room or at least roam free like all the other cats in the neighborhood. Unlike my dog who has to stay at the kitchen+secondlivingroom. So when I move out, I'm looking at getting myself a dog and cat. |
Cats. I've always loved cats. I like dogs too. But I could never have one. I'm allergic to dogs. Which, I think is a lame allergy. I wish I could have a dog though, but I'd still prefer to have a cat (which I do have).
|
I like them both a lot. I had both, and they both have their different things that are fun and cute. But because I have cats now, and I adore my cute little cat, I'm going for the cats on this one. :)
|
I prefer dogs. Cats are cute, but they're a little scary sometimes
|
dog or chinchilla
|
I've always been a cat person, so I'd have to say cats. But I do love dogs as well. I'm looking forward to owning a dog someday, once I'm able to move out. Only had one dog in my life and it was for a short period of time (got too big for our yard so had to give him away). I've always had cats though, since I was a baby.

dogs.
cats aren't as active as dogs, they hate baths, roll around in dust, and bitch too much. my dog doesn't bite me when i try to move him off of MY pillow!!! |
Kitties! I love cats. I like dogs too but cats are just so cute. I really want another one. |
Sometimes I think puppies are cute but I would chose cats over dogs
In fact being a cat person and has a huuugge feline fetish would rather chose cats over humans. I'm serious!!!!!!! D8 I just love love love love love love love love cats! They are just sooo cute and they never stop with their cuteness. And sometimes they can do certain funny things too! And they may not be necessarily be nice to you but it depends on how much attention and love the cat receives and it might wanna fuzzle you all over and want to hug you and stuff. They are really independent in nature. They are very cute. Beautiful creatures really. And they know it too O_O I Just Looooooove cats xDDD |
i like both but i like dogs better they help you to guard your house.
