I saw that tv ad for it today, it does look a lot like smash bros but I think that's that's a good thing... induces a bit of competition to the market :)
|
The Robot Chicken commercial is HILARIOUS! I can never stop laughing. XD
Oh, hey, you got post 100! |
Do you normally watch robot chicken?
|
it says 101 though? :/
I don't watch robot chicken :( |
I watch it all the time! Robot Chicken, to me, if funny. XD
Anyway... I've been playing P4G like crazy. x.x So... good. |
P4G?
Ooh! I've been playing Jet Set Radio from the PS Store! My childhood has returned to me! :D the really depressing thing is i'm like 40p off from buying the full thing which is really depressing :/ |
Persona 4 Golden. It's a port+ for the Vita.
To me, this is an awesome game. |
ahhh I see, is it a fighting game?
|
No, it's a RPG with dungeon crawling and minor dating sims.
Basically Persona 4 takes place in the fictional, rural Japanese town of Inaba, which lies among floodplains and has its own high school and shopping districts. Unexplained murders have taken place in the small town, where bodies are found dangling among television antennas and their cause of death unknown. At the same time, rumor has begun to spread that watching a switched-off television set on rainy midnights will reveal a person's soul mate. Following the rumor, a group of high-school students discovered a fog-shrouded world accessed through television sets infested with monsters called Shadows. They also discovered each of their Shadow Selves, symbolizing their suppressed personalities. Confronting their Shadow Selves awakened their ability to summon beings known as Personas. Using Personas, the students form an Investigation Team to investigate the connection between the TV world and the murders, and possibly capture the culprit. |
:O that sounds so good! is it on the PSP? or just the vita?
|
It was originally for the PS2, but ported over to the Vita. I do wish there was a PS3 option, as I could play at home and on the go with the same save. Lawls.
It's honestly one of the best RPGs of the current and previous generation of gaming. It's received near perfect scores on both accounts. |
Awww now I wish my PS3 could BC sounds like a great game!
So I know it's like 6 months away but what do you expect to see at next years E3? |
We'll probably get news on PS4, which I'm hoping for!
I'm hoping for some games that I can totally fangasim over and not feel guilty! Haha. How about you? |
I'm hoping more information on the Orbis which had now been changed to Thebes :/ also I would like to see some upcoming titles thstbthere are in work including NFS and maybe something from Valve aswell, do they go to E3?
|
Hm... maybe. I think E3 is pretty much open to every Video Game Company. If they show up or not, is up to that company. There's also other conventions where Video Game Companies attend, like PAX EAST, C2E2, Tokyo Game Show, etc.
They changed the name? Ugh... Orbis sounds better. ::sigh:: I just hope it has some sort of backwards compatibility going on. I would be pretty sad if it didn't. D: |
That's true, do they still do the Leipzig Game show anymore? Because I remember I saw it a few years ago but I haven't seen it since?
Yeah I can't believe that they changed the name, Orbis sounds so much better and it would match with Vita :/ |
I'm not sure about Leipzig Game Show. This is honestly the first time I've ever heard about it. x.x
Sony should just call it PlayStation 4 and be done with it. Ugh. |
but everything needs to have development names just to keep the press interested by changing from Orbis to Thebes it will remind the press that it's still going, that's all I can think of really :/
But yeah, upon release they may just go with PS4 just to keep the brand going. |
Oh, no, I totally understand why upcoming projects need codenames. I do get what you're saying about keeping the press on their toes, by changing the name.
Right now, Orbis, Thebes, or whatever the system is going to be called, is a far away expense I don't want to think about. >.< I just hope there are some more games announced for the systems that are out right now. The line up for the rest of the year and Q1 of 2013 is pretty lacking. D: |
I know! Bioshock Infinite is the only major one really :/
Ooh I saw persona 2 and 3 for psp on the ps store! but they're £40 each :/ |
40 Euros each! That's a bit expensive... D: I think Ghostlight handles Atlus' European distribution of games.
I'm not a huge Bioshock fan, but I do know a few friends who are foaming at the mouth for it's release. For me, I'm looking forward to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. After that... I may pick up DMC: Devil May Cry. I despise Capcom for some of their DLC bullcrap, but, meh... maybe. >.> Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch looks so cute... Everything else is in 2013. D: |
yeah which is why I'm annoyed at why they are so expensive. :/
I'm just waiting to see about any good future releases :) |
The remaining year is pretty lack luster. >:
|
yeah everything is under wraps at the moment :(
|
I was given a blue Afterglow wireless PS3 controller and a 25.00 gift card to Game Stop. Since I pre-ordered a few games, I may put it towards those games or the Virtue's Last Rewards PSVita game that I had ordered for me.
