There's a very distinct sound between firecrackers and guns...but then I was brought up around civil war reenactments and taken to those places where you shoot guns at targets when i was a kid...so maybe that's why I can tell the difference when I hear them. XD

I used to be able to tell the difference, but my hearing is not as it used to be.

It now just all sounds like very loud noises!

Well...that's really all it is...just loud noise...if it is far enough away...I can't really tell the difference between the two.

I never heard any police sirens, so I must have just been firecrackers!

The police get called for firecrackers here...and fireworks... XD I'm assuming it is against the law to have them in the city here. :/

I heard lots of bangs and booms on new years eve, but I didn't see any fireworks. :gonk:

I just got a notice that the event was ending soon.

In an hour...which I got like ten minutes ago. XD

*sigh* And they added more items again than from the last time I looked which was like a few days ago. Oh well...at least they are commons...they'll just be double the price. XD

I think that there are many more things there than I can afford.

As you said, they can always be purchased later, if they are really needed.
I got a few of the items I liked.

I got a bunch of items that I really liked...there are still a bunch I want...most of my items are either EIs, CIs, or commons purchased during events. I probably have less than ten items that I purchased out of a normal common shop and only one item that I purchased in the exchange which was an EI.
