Vera took a sip of her drink and looked over at Isaac. "Well...I have to go get ready for when the prince arrives..." she said to him and thought about what else she would do. "I'll probably go for a walk as I wait for him to come...other than that I really have nothing to do today..." she said to him and looked at her father and finished up eating.

Isaac smiled at her and nodded as he finished eating. "okay sounds like a great plan to me." he said as he smiled at her and knew that she didn't want to met the prince. But if he tryed anything he would stop it right away and make sure that she stayed happy.

Once Vera finished, she excused herself and went over to her room. Locking the door behind her, Vera undressed and took out the beautiful dress that her father had bought for her. Vera sighed and slipped it on and looked into teh mirror, she looked beautiful. When she unlocked the door, she called over a maid to help her zip up the corset part of the dress and tie a bow with the ribbons it had under the zipper.

THe king wanted Isaac to stay for a second and looked at him, "you know that you are only suppose to be friends with her and if you try anything while the prince is here I will kick you out of this castle without a thought." he said and Isaac nodded and then headed out of there to go be with Vera. But as he walked down the hall he saw her and his jaw dropped. As he got closer he only managed to say one thing, "you look beautiful."

Vera looked up and saw Isaac. "Oh...thank-you Isaac." she said and smiled. Vera hugged herself and sighed. "Let's go out to the garden while we wait for this prince guy to show up." she said and began to walk out to the garden. "Isaac...I have a question..." she said and looked at him.

Isaac smiled as he walked out after her and could see how much she wasn't going to like seeing the prince. He just hoped that he didn't try anything. But when he heard her he looked at her, "yes, what is your question vera?" he asked as he looked at her and had no idea what she wanted to ask.

"Well...." she started as she sat on a bench near the flowers. "Are you going to be with me while I'm with the prince?" she asked him. She looked up at him then back down since the sun was in her eyes. Vera sighed mentally as she waited for his answer, and as she waited for the prince's arrival.

Isaac was surprised by the question and thought the answer would be obvious. He sat down next to her and looked at her, "of course I am going to be with you while your with the prince. I am always going to be close by for you." he said as he looked at her and then smiled, "and if i see that your not liking hte prince I will find a way to get you out of there."

Vera smiled. "Thanks...." she said to him. Vera looked around the garden and began to hum a song. This son happened to be the lullaby that her mother would sing or hum to her before she slept, and whenever she had trouble sleeping. "I don't think that the prince will actually be here for more than an hour....I think I'll survive." she said and smiled over to him.

Isaac smiled at her, "well if I see that you cant survive it I will rescue you without questions asked." he said as he looked at her and smiled. She really did look beautiful and he cared about her more then anything else. He listened to her hum intensely and loved the sound of her. He was lucky to have her as a friend even though he knew his feelings for her where something else.

Vera was growing bored and crossed her arms across her chest. "This prince it taking forever to arrive!" she said and sighed. Vera wasn't the most patient person in the world. "What should we do while we wait Isaac?" she asked him and shot him a beautiful smile.

Isaac chuckled when he heard her and gently layed a hand on her arm. "calm down Vera, I am sure that the royal pain will be here soon." he said as he looked at her and smiled. "and we can do what ever you wish till he comes. We could play a game, go wonder around the castle or just talk." he said as he looked at her and smiled.

Vera frowned. "I'm sorry...I just hate waiting." she said to him and looked around. "Well...have you seen your new room?" she asked him. "Father said it was five doors down from my room." she reminded him. "You should go look at it sometime..." she said and smiled.

Isaac shook his head, "no I haven't seen it yet, I was too bussy doing my duty and stay by you." he said as he smiled at her. "but how about if we go see what it is like. In truth I have never really had a room besides the room that was more like a prison." he said but as he thought about that a small memory came to mind. It was small and all he remembered was a crib and two people. But the memory soon was gone and he didn't think about it.

Vera smiled. "Okay then...let's go see your new room!" she said and went back inside the castle. She waited a while for Isaac to catch up then went up to her room. "One, two, three, four, five!" she said. "This is your room!" she said to him and smiled. "Open the door Isaac...I hope you like the new room." she said to him.

Isaac smiled at her as he ran after her in the castle. But when they stopped at the door he could only stare at it, he had never had a room before. He then slowly reached out and opened it. Inside was a simple guest room but Isaac could not believe that he actually had a room like this. "this is amazing." he said softly and only wished his room was closer to Veras.

"I'm glad you like it." said Vera. Vera then entered his room and looked around. "It's a very nice room indeed. I'm sure you'll get a very good sleep here from now on." she said to him and giggled.

Isaac smiled when he heard her giggle, he liked that sound. "yeah but I wished it was closer to you. I would feel better then." he said as he looked at her and smiled, "but I am glad to actually have a room." he said as he smiled at her.

"I wish it was closer too, but I'm happy that you actually have a room now." she said to him and smiled sweetly. Vera then gave him a quick hug and then backed away. "That's for being a great friend and a great guard." she whispered and looked down to hide her blush.

Isaac was surprised by the hug and could only stare at her. He could tell that she was blushing and smiled at her a little bit, "I am happy to be your friend and guard." he said softly and wished he could be somethig more. But he was her guard and nothing else. He then took her hand, "let's go and find something to do while we wait for the prince." he said as he started to lead her out of there.

Vera smiled and followed him out. "Wait...what are we going to do?" she asked him and looked around. "Where's father?" she asked herself. Vera sighed and continued to follow Isaac around and wondered what they could do. "I have to water my flowers! I forgot to do that!" she said and frowned. "I hope they didn't die..." she said and ran off to her room.

Isaac smiled when he heard her, "we are going to do what we feel like." he said but then felt her hand leave his and he saw her run back to her room. He started to follow her but then started to pass her fathers office and heard him talking about someone who he was keeping and something about a prince. He guessed it was him hoping tha hte prince would stay here. He just shrugged and started to head after Vera and smiled when he got to her room and watched her water her flowers.

"You are all so beautiful....thanks for living a little longer. I'm sorry I forgot to water you when i woke up...but I'm pretty busy right now." she said to her flowers and smiled sweetly. Vera's eyes then went over to Isaac and she smiled. "Hello...sorry for leaving...I just really wanted to water my darling flowers." she explained. "So we're going to do whatever we want huh?" she said to him.

Isaac smiled and nodded, "how about if we head out into town and walk around for a little while till the prince comes." he said as he looked at her and smiled. he then looked at hte flowers and thought that they where as beautiful as she was. He then smiled at her, "oh and your father is in your study, he is talkinga bout the prince now." he said.

Vera looked at him and smiled. "He is? I need to ask him something and I need to let him know that we are going to go for a walk." she said and began to go downstairs to her father's study. When she was there, she went inside and smiled at her father. "Father...." she said quietly.
