I'm in the process of buying the hat! I've had to sacrifice my Pirate's Booty for it ... =[ But it's well worth it, I've always preferred the gold items over the silver! Gah. The auction was going ok, going up 50g at a time... Then a big dirty bid of 26k came in, and I only had like 15k methinks... It went up furthur though. I have gold stashed on my mule account for the Scarf/Sash set, so I may be buying that soon! |
Yeah, I hate when the bids jump up from nothing to astronomical amounts. It's how the boa went, too. :x I guess you just need to have about 70k pocketed now if you're going to even be a contender for the rarer items on that thing . . . even though it IS supposed to be an inflation technique. Technically the prices are lower than the price guide, but I think the price guide is broken, in my opinion. >_>;

I have my fake pudao for now :) I've found someone selling the set in the exchange, but they havent been online in like a month... CIs are selling at mad prices, like 1k-2k per set in the 1st month that it's out! People are charging more for the multi-equip-ness I think. It's silly D: |
It's because gold is "easier" to come by now that they have games and you can technically gain 500 gold a day with them. . . 1,000 if you have a mule. I don't know anyone who has the TIME to sit and play games for 1,000 gold a day though, even 500. @_@; I know I'm way too busy to get gold that way even though I did it over the summer when I had NOTHING to do. But most people, like me, are busy now, and the inflation is just terrible because we can never hardly gain enough gold to keep up with the rising costs. D:

Yeah, I know. X_X Though I think 300k+ for a V-Day pin is REALLY ridiculous at this point in time. I can't really complain about it, since I doubt nothing's going to go down by just being upset over it. It would be nice to have an ultimate wave over Menewsha for people just avoiding buying things off of people until the prices drop a good 50%. Doubt it would happen . . . people are greedy, want things NOW, and not everyone would cooperate.
