Middle names!
Got one? Wish you had one? Wish you had a more interesting one? |
My middle name is alright. It's Tenley. My name is very old fashioned, especially in full, because my first name is Edith. >_> Yuck.
|
i dont have a middle name, and i'll hold that against my parents forever. [rofl]
middle names are the bees knees, why the fuck cant i have one? :'( |
Give yourself a middle name, Jeremy?

My middle name is a common one as well. It's Marie. [XP]
---------- Post added 11-13-2012 at 02:16 PM ---------- for Jeremy, your middle name should be Wayne. [ninja] |
I have a middle name. It's not all that. [lol] It's Joann.
I prefer my first name over my middle one. >.> |

I don't prefer my first name. [XP] I get to the point where i hate my first name and wonder about going by my middle. People around here pronounce it wrong and hubby has a cousin with the same first name, even pronounced the same.

I like your first name, llonka. :) I think it's really pretty.
|
Thanks Lizzy, I was almost a Lauren. sometimes i wish i was. [:P]

I quite like my middle name. My mum named me after her godmother because they couldn't have children so they thought it would be a nice way to thank them for everything that they've done. So I guess the fact I like the name and it has a cute wee story makes it even better. C:
My middle name is Mairi (pronounced marry) |
That pretty miss vinnie! [yes] i guess i could say Marie is a family name, my mother, and grandmother's middle names are Marie also.

@Lon: We don't really have any family names (other than my middle name and that's only two of us haha) we try to be fairly unique.
@Jeremy: Well it's gaelic so probably a good thing it sounds Scottish haha |

The original language of Scotland, though after we were colonised by the English we had to stop using it.

It's okay, I like tea and crumpets. C: Plus, it's basically a dead language anyway, only people from the islands still speak it really.

also ive never had a crumpet, so i wouldnt know[oops] |
I don't think I like you any more, Jeremy [stare]
[lol] Vin, is Irish Gaelic the same language as Scottish? Or is it like Mexican and Spanish, same but different. Or am I asking you stuff that you've no way of knowing [lol] |

you killed gaelic! [illgetu] |
@Jeremy: They totally are, I'm pretty sure they're all inbreeds haha. Of course not, if we didn't lose at Culloden we wouldn't have had to speak English and give up on tartan. Those pesky redcoats.
Crumpets are lush [drool] @Jelly: I'm pretty sure they're different. The basics are likely the same though. I don't really know for sure though, I'd have to ask my mum's boyfriend. Since he's from Lewis, Gaelic is his first language C: |
