Happy Halloween!

I hope you're up for some costuming fun, since I've got a spooktacular challenge for you. Two brave souls have offered up their likenesses to be used as paper dolls for your amusement. Now it's up to you to decide what they ought to wear on Allhallows Eve. ;D

How to Play:

Use the base images provided of Mr. Mayor or Cecilia and dress them up in a costume of your choosing. Winners will be chosen based on creativity and skill, plus possible bonus categories depending on the number of entries.

Rules:

- Please submit entries through your main account.
- You must use the doll bases provided.
- All entries must be entirely your own work (aside from the NPC doll base).
- However, you may use stock photography if you give credit/link to the source.
- Limit one prize per entry, but you may submit more than one entry.
- No whining.

DEADLINE: Entries may be submitted until the event forum closes. I will make a new thread announcing the winners in the Community Discussion forum after a few days of deliberation. Don't pester me while I'm judging or I might lower your score. :P

Q. What color are Cessy's eyes?

A. They're blue.

Q. Can I trace the bases to make an entry?

A. Sure! If you can't print or if you'd prefer working in a non-digital medium, then you can trace the bases for your entry. Please keep the bases as close to the originals as possible.

Q. Can I submit more than one entry of Cessy and/or Mr. Mayor?

A. Yes, you can. I'd love to see whatever ideas you come up with, but to keep things fair I probably won't award more than one prize to the same person.

What a cute idea! The base images are adorable! Can we print them out and then trace over the base and then add clothes on our trace? I haven't CGed in months and I'm seriously rusty...I prefer traditional anyway lol

Sure! I have no problem with that. :) As long as you're using the base as the starting point, then that sounds fine to me. I'm looking forward to seeing your entry!

.. I might try to actually make paper clothes for these, if I budget my time well enough this week. :)

Sorry, but no. The challenge is to make a costume for the NPCs using the bases, so I'd prefer to keep the bases as close to the original as possible. Tracing them is fine so you can use traditional materials, but the style should remain the same.

Maybe you can make your style will look really nice on the bases? It's always worth a try. :)

Ooooh I'll have lots of plane time to play with this idea! *prints Cessy* This should be interesting! I need to find my colored pencils! lol. :heart:
