How Old Are You game and Hangout

The POST YOUR AGE GAME really has no practical purpose.
Just post how old you are and an event that happened in your life. It doesn't have to be a large one, but just something... special. Could be anything. Hopefully we'll be abel to get some conversation going to stop this from being spam.
The first person to post gets to say "First post!" in bold and rub it in our faces. Big Fun (>_O)

Sforzando 12-26-2008 11:58 PM

Er, first post?

16

And...a special event that happened to me was...Well, I personally know James Otto, I got his signature at my high school's football game. And my brother is best friends with James Otto's brother. Also, one of my best friends is Patricia Brigg's daughters. And I know Patty personally. And not on a went-to-convention-got-book-signed basis, but on a she-used-to-be-my-church-teacher basis. But that was a long time ago.

13 haru 13 12-27-2008 12:36 AM

Wow, (<--I'm assuming there famous)
I have never herd of any of them:insane:. When i Googled it they all appeared to be well know. I dont think i know anyone who knows so many famous people
... unique

Sforzando 12-27-2008 12:43 AM

Yeah, they are famous. James Otto is a famous country singer who used to go to my school. And Patty is a famous author that goes to my church. Her daughter goes to my school, too, and we're good friends. Patty is famous for her books like "Moon Called, "Blood Bound," and "Iron Kissed."

But you googled them, so you probably already knew that.

13 haru 13 12-27-2008 12:46 AM

I've herd of "Blood Bound" before, but didn't know the author

Thank you for posting(was supposed to say that earlier, sorry)

Stallion Duck 12-27-2008 01:05 AM

15.
I guess a special event in my life was when I met one of my favorite bands and when I met one of the guitarist from another one of my favorite bands.

13 haru 13 12-27-2008 01:28 AM

... wow, a lot of people meet famous people...
your lucky, twoof you favorites

Stallion Duck 12-27-2008 01:29 AM

One was because I waited in line two hours to meet them and the other was because I was waiting to get into the concerts and he randomly walk out and talked to the few fans who were there.

Son Zack 12-27-2008 01:30 AM

I'm fifteen.

I've don't know any famous people, but Sarah Palin gave me a high five at a rally and I've seen Tom Cruise once.

13 haru 13 12-27-2008 01:43 AM

O_O
wow, there are a lot of people who know famous people...

Son Zack 12-27-2008 01:44 AM

Maybe it's just a matter of location? Dunno. Being in a big city kinda helps.

13 haru 13 12-27-2008 01:52 AM

for you it probably dose. I live just off of a town that's just off of a city.

"My Town"<----"Larger Town"<----"City"

Please remember guys, spam is not recommended. Not here or anywhere else on Menewsha.

You're free to answer the question in the first post, but do your best to encourage conversation as well.

haru, could you please edit that out of the first post so that users don't get the wrong idea?

Son Zack 12-27-2008 01:58 AM

Sher, it was more of a joke then anything. I'll take out that "you may be cursed" part as well. Some poor superstitious person may see it and go into hiding. i'll re read the rules to avoid the ban hammer

Good to know the mods are out doin' what they do~

13 haru 13 12-27-2008 02:15 AM

Shagami 12-27-2008 02:17 AM

Knerd 12-27-2008 02:20 AM

If I'm here, I should probably answer the questions too, huh?

I'm 20.
And nothing too big has happened to me lately, but I did buy myself some sock yarn this afternoon! I'm going to try to knit some socks for the first time (as soon as I find the right size needles to go along with my pattern).

The Volturis Lover 12-27-2008 02:23 AM

I'm 24. And an event that happened to me ... well we just got back from NYC a little while ago. We went to check out the tree and shop windows before they take them down.

Son Zack 12-27-2008 02:25 AM

Knerd- You knit? That's rad xD. I have friends that knit really well- awesome scarves and stuff. Knitted socks would be awesome, it's getting cold!

Shagami 12-27-2008 02:30 AM

I wish had warmer socks!
My feet are ice cubes
