Hi!
I wish I had a pool... oh well a virtual pool will do for now. I am curious to see what my 1 year old will do when I take him to the little water area in the park up the road from us. |
Watching babies play in the water for the first time is so much fun. Their eyes get all big and they get such wonderful pleasure from being in it.

I have to admit that the placement of announcements isn't that great.
Work's going to be crazy this week, and my evenings are going to be tied up with packing and moving. I'll still try to pop in and say hi every now and then. Now, its off to start packing books so I can send them home on Wed (and so Ellie doesn't beat me because I'm procrastinating too much) |
For whatever reason Firefox doesn't log me out of Mene despite not being here for hours at time sometimes so I just click the first mene in the listing and it's usually the forum button so I completely miss the first page all together. heh. Good thing you saw it Roo.

Were any of the mods talking about it before now? Cause I see some of them here running things, or did they just keep their mouths shut? Don't recall seeing any conversations discussing this event. *shrugs* But we are here now, so all is well.

Ohh - I'll take a drink if you don't mind - Corona with lime will do nicely - always makes me think of summer to have a Corona :p
I did my 2 mile walk today - I probably shouldn't of - I'm still not fully over the death cold thing I had - but I feel OK so I guess it's not so bad. My legs hurt though . . been slacking off for too long :roll: |

Its kinda small, but there is a yard and laundry hookups, same school and huge bedrooms. That kinda makes up for the lack of living room lol. Well there is one but its not very big and its connected to the kitchen. Doesnt mean we have to stay there long either. He's due to get a promotion soon, they are putting another printing press in where he works and he's in line to run one of the shifts on it. Once he gets that we will be able to afford something bigger. At least we are getting out of there now.
They guy that lived in the flooded apartment got arrest yesterday. Apparently, it really was done deliberately, because the water meter was ripped off the wall and the pipes were sawed in half. The idiot had been banned from coming around the building. Well the fire marshal had set some of the sabotaged pieces out for collection to be investigated, and the guy snuck into the apartment and tried to make off with one of the bigger pieces. The fire marshal caught him red handed *dances* |
Nice . .. glad he got what was coming to him . . .now why the hell would he want to flood the apartments . . . :/

Because he was evicted and told the landlord that he wasn't leaving and if he did leave he would make sure that apartment wasn't ever livable again.
On another note, I can't revive my quest thread from page 2. I don't think it's been enough hours yet. Oh well, someone will :) |
