Christmas Gifts
Anybody get anything cool?
Or gift anything cool?? I got a couple of comics, a card game, and a jar of pickles. [lol] And got myself some nice wool socks and shoulder massage thing. [ninja] |

I only got something for one of my friends and it was basically a gift exchange where he told me what I could get him since he had just moved to his own place. [lol] |
I did a bunch of care packages with cookies and chocolate carmalt covered apples and then a few personal items as well. For my mother I just sent her a bunch of bath items in a cent I hope she likes. And a white T-shirt. She has like 50 of them in her Closet. That's just what she really likes plain white T shirts. So this one I got her is really silky and light for summer time period she went down to Florida for a month so it was actually perfect. |

So a bit of a back story...last year for Christmas my husband got me a pair of oven mitts that look like bear claws...and when I opened them, looking unimpressed, he said, "Now you can take things out of the oven with your...BEAR hands....." and ANYTIME he cooks, he says, "Look Maria, I'm taking it out of the oven with my BEAR hands..." Basically they became his LOL
Well...this year for Christmas...I opened my gift and there they are....he said, "If you weren't impressed by them the first time, I decided the second time you would be! Now you can take food out of the oven with your BEAR hands!!!" UGH LOL |

I got some clothes, a bit of candy, a new pair of earphones, and a few toys and treats for my cats.

I got a nice sweater, a blanket, a towel set and some Pirouline cookies...but the best gift was having all my kids and grandkids together for a dinner I didn't have to cook!

I don't give a lot of presents out much anymore, because anyone that I do get things for tend to be ungrateful for the stuff that they receive. This year I only gifted maybe five people, everyone else is lucky they got a card this year.
I got five gift cards to places I frequent, from the same five people I mentioned above; everyone else didn't get me poop like they do every year. |
