Hey there people! Merry Day After Christmas to everyone! This is a hangout thread established by myself and my very good friend Cricket. We're just gonna hang here and gab about whatever we want. You can join us if you like!

We just have a few requests:

Please be literate, it's much easier to understand people when they use proper spelling and grammar. And lots of chatspeak gives us headaches.
Be nice. It's really important to be nice, and we're all here to have fun, right?
Along with being nice, please be respectful.

We may add rules if we have to, but I'd prefer we not need to.

I haven't seen Cricket around in a long while. I had wondered what happened to him.

I had the same dilemma with the stars earlier as well. Wasn't sure if I should use them or not.

It would have been nice to get kitchenware. I could use some new utensils and whatnot. Although, I did get a Visa gift card from my father. I suppose I can just go buy what I wanted. :lol:

Yeah it went very well! We had snow on Christmas Eve, so it was still white outside yesterday. It was a happy happy thing! Unfortunately it wasn't sticky enough for snowmen, but that's ok. It was still neat.

Hello Float, so far the event's going slow.

I've tried to bake. but it says i don't have enough items. Yet I do :(, so I guess I won't be getting the items I need.

ff, you should check the FAQ. There should be a notice for you at the top of the forum, addressing those issues you're having. A few staff members posted some tips to help you remedy the problem.

Float: Well, literacy means to use proper English. Meaning capitalization, punctuation, and the such. And not hitting enter after every sentence...

Float, capitalization would be most appreciated.

Jen, other than the knee and chest prints in the snow from my ill-conceived attempt at sledding on a Rubbermaid lid, I didn't wanna lay down in the snow, lol!

How was sledding on the Rubbermaid lid, Merrihop? That sounds like a lot of fun! :lol:

It was a critical failure, actually. You know how you sometimes gotta... throw yourself down with your "sled" to get going? Yeah the Rubbermaid lid sank into the fluffy snow, my chest buried itself in the snow, and my knee whacked itself into the lid. I was snowy and cold, and my knee is swollen, lol!

But it was kinda funny anyway.

I was thinking that might happen. When the lid is more flat with no sort of curve at the top, it probably makes it more difficult. Still sounds like fun though.

It was ouchtastic! Lol!

I was still thrilled to have snow, we don't get much around here, so it was a big deal.
