nice. I heard that it got bad reviews though so instead of seeing that, I went to see Bridge of Spies. It was quite interesting and good.

Emma Corrin 10-30-2015 12:40 AM

Bridge of Spies is on the list to see - along with a million others lol! So many good movies releasing all at once! We ended up not going though because of the weather. Will probably rent it when it comes to DirecTV in a few months. :3 At the moment I'm watching old Disney Channel Original Movies for Halloween!

Phoenix of the Immortal 10-30-2015 01:38 AM

lol kk

Emma Corrin 10-31-2015 11:00 PM

It's Halloween tradition! Disney's Monstober and abcfamily's 13 Nights of Halloween are October MUSTS every year! [love]

Phoenix of the Immortal 11-01-2015 02:21 AM

lol tradition for me is getting ready for NaNo.

Emma Corrin 11-01-2015 03:38 AM

Lol! I have a friend who does that every year [yes] I think she also does the one in the summer as well - I've never done it though [no] Always comes at inopportune times lol!

Phoenix of the Immortal 11-01-2015 05:48 AM

lol.

Emma Corrin 11-01-2015 07:30 PM

It's usually in November right? That's always the buildup on homework and papers gearing towards Finals - then the summer one I think is either July or August, which is when I'm going around trying to get everything set up for the new semester lol 5 1/2 years in college takes it's toll on the social life!! :(

Phoenix of the Immortal 11-01-2015 09:27 PM

Yeah, always in November.

Emma Corrin 11-02-2015 02:51 AM

Yeah that's what I thought [yes]

Phoenix of the Immortal 11-02-2015 04:34 AM

alright.

IndigoKitsune 11-17-2015 06:48 PM

Fairy Tail 2014
Once Piece
Kagewani
Owarimonogatari
Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider

Hetalia Axis Powers
Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

Emma Corrin 11-19-2015 10:31 PM

Ahh! Kaichou wa Maid-sama was soooo good! I wish they had made a second season though - it ends too soon! Kind of like Fruits Basket and Ouran Host Club - I did hear that the manga for all 3 goes way beyond the anime though lol I just wish they'd transfer it to an anime too!! The voice casting was amazing in Japan <3

I have been using Kaichou wa Maid-sama to introduce a friend to anime, it is also my first time seeing this one and over all I like it. The only problem is, is that we only have time to watch it a couple times a month.

I have read Fruits Basket and over all it is one of my favorite shoujo manga. I also want to read Ouran Host Club.

Emma Corrin 11-20-2015 12:10 AM

Ohhh - that's a nice one to introduce with - it has a great story and offers a wide variety of characters - shame you have to have it spread out so much though - hopefully you guys can keep up and still enjoy the story - it's definitely a great one :) <3

I started reading both years ago - never finished either though - my local bookstore went out of business so I couldn't keep up with it! I haven't ordered manga, or even books for that matter, from online in years - I don't ever think of it xD;

I wish we had more time, but we won't be able to watch it again until December, so we are going to have to look at a recap of the first three episodes. I have also been showing her Hetalia: Axis Powers, since some times we don't have enough time for a longer show.

As for Fruits Basket its more then worth getting a hold of all of the books, if you can't buy them see if your local library will get them.

Emma Corrin 11-24-2015 01:49 AM

Oh no! Definitely look for a recap on YouTube - they usually do highlights of episodes :3 Hetalia is a great one for when you don't have a lot of time or it's intermittent - each episode is kind of it's own thing so it really doesn't matter if you remember exactly what you saw in the previous episode, because it really had nothing to do with anything lol!

For sure! I figure when I move into my own house and have more room I'll finish up buy the manga series that I have - since I never think of it and don't really have the room anyways, I figure it's the best plan lol! I'd check with the local library but they're pretty low maintenance and aren't really keeping afloat very well, so I highly doubt they'd do something like that for one person - too much of a cost! But would definitely be awesome if they would - I'd probably have to go to the city library for that though [yes] It bites being in the country lol!

Emma Corrin 11-27-2015 02:36 AM

Woot! Just found 3 Mangas I've been reading as Anime on Crunchyroll!! Arakawa Under the Bridge, The Kawai Complex, and Gugure Kokkuri-san! Very excited right now :D

Phoenix of the Immortal 11-27-2015 03:03 AM

Good to hear! Been catching up on anime myself actually...

Emma Corrin 11-27-2015 06:54 PM

Nice! What've you been watching?

I haven't had time to watch Anime in ages lol I had a little time last night and was looking over Crunchy to see what they had and came across those - I started watching Arakawa but didn't get very far [yes] I'm hoping I'll have some time over winter break to catch up and narrow down my list, but we'll see!

Phoenix of the Immortal 11-27-2015 09:45 PM

I caught up on Heavy Object, Noragami, Isuca OVA, YGO Arc-V, Lance N Masques, along with a few others

Emma Corrin 11-28-2015 01:30 AM

Noragami sounds familiar but I can't remember if it's because it's on my Que or if it's because I saw it while going through Crunchy lol! I do have Lances N Masques on my list though! That one looked really good [yes] No idea what the others are though [sweat]

Phoenix of the Immortal 11-28-2015 01:51 AM

Lances N Masques is cute and funny, but can be cheesy at times just to give you a heads up.

Emma Corrin 11-28-2015 08:19 PM

Really? I was expecting more of a Princess Mononoke-feel and was excited for that lol Thanks for the heads up!

Phoenix of the Immortal 11-28-2015 10:09 PM

Nope, not that. But it is cute nevertheless
