Funny lol Never would have guessed based on the art and name - I'm disappointed yet intrigued at the same time lol It will be interesting to see if I'll like it as much as I thought I would when I actually go to watch it!

I just finished getting caught up on Adventures of Sinbad and I'm almost done with Magi now. I've been having so much reading manga again!

Yayy! I'm also making progress on my list! For Anime I finished the first season of Arakawa Under the Bridge, finished the first season of Is Your Order A Rabbit?, finished Diabolik Lovers More Blood, started Gugure! Kokkuri-san, and watched the 3 Madoka Magica movies - that third movie was a twist!!! The first 2 were just the anime season put together in movie format lol Manga has been a little slower since all of my manga is being published at the moment, but I also caught up on all of those! :)

I've been catching up on my list as well! Still need to finish up on Valkyrie Drive, Ore ga Ojousama and a few others though.

Woot! Sounds like everyone is catching up on their lists! It's so nice having some downtime right now - it's been too long :3 Only a few weeks to enjoy it though lol Then it's back to the grind!!

im still waiting for the anime that are TBA to release their pilot episodes. in the meantime, im watching Ace Attorney: Phoenix Wright anime adaptation that released just recently.

I haven't been watching anime much lately, but a lot of series I've been waiting to air are finally airing so MyAnimeList brought me back with notifications of airing shows - specifically Sailor Moon Crystal - it's the Hotaru/Rini/Mistress9 arc so I'm pretty excited - next to the Black Lady arc this is my favorite! In the original anime, I love the Princess Serenity arc and the battle with Queen Beryl - but it wasn't as like OMG YES!!! in Crystal, but it was interesting to see their interpretation of it :3 I thought they did fabulous with the Black Lady arc though so I was excited they're continuing on! So far it's pretty awesome, but I hate that they keep using the same dang monster EVERY TIME. Like seriously. The original anime was MUCH more creative! I feel like it was a money saver to keep using the same animation over and over again for the battle scene since they lengthened the transformations and spent more time on them since everyone yelled about it lol But cutting corners on the battles? Yeah. I don't think that's going to go over well either lol

I'm actually finally catching up on Akatsuki no Yona...and I feel so bad for the Blue Dragon. Sinha I believe Yona names him. Also...I'm not liking the second opening like a lot of other people apparently. And that's among keeping up with other animes this season.

Sooo good right? The Blue Dragon is my favorite - I hope Season 2 comes soon - it left off with such a cliff hanger!! And I agree, the second opening stinks. I wasn't a fan of the switch!
I'm trying not to go through the new anime, but I was dumb and went through the simulcast section on Crunchy and added probably around 30 new anime to my list lol I'm nearing 500 on my list for Crunchy - it's legit ridiculous lol But I did find a new one called Flying Witch or something like that - it's basically a new take on Kiki's Delivery Service! So excited to see what it's like - I mean, it's a totally different story I think but it had nearly the exact same plot concept and character outlines! :3 |
I didn't watch that nor do I think I will. I liked Kiki's Delivery Service, but I think that should be an alone type thing.

I'll definitely have to check that out soon then - I saw it as a new simulcast on Crunchy and added it to my ever growing list lol I'll have to get on a computer and send it to the top of my list so I can watch it! Does it still have a bit of a plot though? To go along with the fun stuff?

It's not all that bad honestly, but it has it moments where I have to pause because it gets a little on the ridiculous side.
