Ah, Valentine's Day. It's not that I have anything against the holiday. Growing up, I always loved the parties my elementary school held. As students, we would make our own valentine "holders" out of folded over paper. Who could be the most creative, who might get the most goodies...

At least no one ever ended up crying from being left out. We were a good group of kids.

I can't say that I've ever held any romantic attachment to Valentine's Day. Maybe it's because I spent Kindergarten through Grade 6 celebrating it with friends. I'm attached at the hip to the greatest man in the world and have absolutely no desire to shower him with the cliche pink and white signs of affection. Never have, either. Perhaps people should just love one another every day.

As such, I invite all of my friends to come celebrate. Let's have a good time and make some memories, however frightening and mentally scarring to the children they may be. (Just not mine. S/he's a work in progress!)

The Giveaway:

I am really lucky because I have a week off starting tonight. :sweat: There are tons of things that need to be done around the apartment (mostly eBaying), but I'll have some time to participate in this event.
