That's a know issue, it's caused by the hair not the cloak, and sadly there's nothing that we can do about it. It effects a number of items, but it's entirely out of our hands, we just have to wait for our coder to have a brainwave as to how to fix it.

Vivian 05-27-2009 04:27 AM

Ah, alright thanks!
Maybe I can find a way to cover it.

Edit:
Oh yeah!
I remember it didn't do that back in the day when I first bought it.
So maybe it has to do with something you've already changed with the hair.
Hope that helped a bit. ^^; <3

Yep - we know that something we did to fix one problem we had with hair layering under things it shouldn't made it so now the hair loads over things it shouldn't. It's still borked either way, but it borks with fewer items this way.

This isn't a big deal at all, but when you equip Phoenix Flats, you also get two random white pixels on of the legs. I'm assuming they're not supposed to be part of the shoes.. @_@

I'll take a look at that :)

Zernita 08-05-2009 11:37 PM

I'm not sure if this is exactly a layering glitch.. or if it's supposed to be that way, so that our avatars aren't too cluttered;
when I try to put a pin on the hip of my avatar, I can't have it holding something on the same side in her hand.
Like, I wanted to have her holding the Elegant Gold Pocketwatch in her hand and have a Gold Pocket Watch on her hip
(or any other pin that goes on the hip)
, but it says that you can't put these items together because they're on the same layer
:/

Ferra 08-06-2009 12:01 AM

It's because the watches are on the same layer. Other hand-helds should work just fine.

Zernita 08-06-2009 01:26 AM

Okay.. but I tried to put a Bitter Pants Pin with the watch that is held in the hand, and it still didn't work.

Ferra 08-06-2009 03:01 AM

That's because they're all on the same layer. It's the hand-held watch that's on the waist-pin layer so the watches are all together. If you try to wear something else in that hand it should work just fine.

Tre Le Coco 08-06-2009 11:09 AM

Which items exactly are you having trouble equipping together?
It sounds like one of them may be on the wrong layer to me

jellysundae 08-06-2009 03:04 PM

The watch was put on the pants pin layer because it would have meant you not being able to equip a handheld otherwise :)

Tre Le Coco 08-06-2009 03:33 PM

But wouldn't it make more sense to put it on the same layer like the purses?

Zernita 08-06-2009 03:52 PM

Thank you for answering my question (:

Just wondering if there was any way one might have the white overshirt occur OVER the belts? I'm currently wearing a white overshirt with a blue belt and the bottom of the shirt gets placed under the belt.

jellysundae 08-06-2009 08:14 PM

I could move the shirt's layer forward so the belts layer beneath it, there are seven other layers inbetween the two of them though, and moving the shirt might mess up how something else looks...can't really tell at the moment though.

I'll move it and we'll see how it goes. You'll need to un-equip the shirt and put it back on again for the change to show.

Sizzla 08-07-2009 08:09 PM

In most cases, I'd like that shirts layer over belts. I had just accepted that it wasn't going to layer that way. I'll have to see how it looks with different things. This is kind of an exciting change. XD

Cami 08-10-2009 11:53 PM

I'm fairly certain the bottom half of the sashy thingy (today's EI) should layer over the skirts, stockings, dresses, etc.

Tre Le Coco 08-11-2009 12:05 AM

looks like it might of been cut incorrectly...i'll go double check :)

edit - ah, jelly had to move it to a lower layer because it would chop right through the hair otherwise, so it looks like its going to be like that for a while sorry ;)

CK 08-11-2009 05:15 AM

Yeah. We had the choice of the avatar holding it and it going behind our hair (but layering overtop certain areas if you're not wearing something to cover them) or it could layer under our hair/through our hair (depending on the style) and it floating entirely behind the avatar (not held) BUT it'd have no real major conflicts. :/

myogi_sama 08-16-2009 04:24 AM

i like it

The Brown Buckled Corset goes over the Chocolate Over shirt as seen on my avi. xD

jellysundae 08-31-2009 10:59 AM

Yes, that's not a glitch, it's just how the layers are. The corselets are on a layer that allows them to be worn over fastened coats, so obviously they're also going to go over anything that's underneath coats too

Ribbon-Blade 10-04-2009 12:41 AM

Hmm. I'm wearing boots that I'd prefer to have on the outside of my jeans. Anything I can do about it?
ITEMS:
Cropped Dark Grey Jeans (F)
Green Laced Boots

Antagonist 10-04-2009 04:09 AM

Is the golden liquid from the cup supposed to burn/pass through the scarf? o.O;

Tre Le Coco 10-04-2009 05:57 AM

There is nothing wrong with the gold liquid :) it isn't burning through lol the gap between the liquid and the drip just happens to be big enough to make it look like it goes straight through

And unfortuently, unless jelly feels like it, the boots won't layer over the pants Ribbon-Blade  the only boots that do are ones that have half the shoe poking out around the pants anyway
