I spent waaay too much time on Mene today trying to get back into things but it was fun to walk down memory lane!

Ok so this is actually from December 12th but I just uploaded the video to YouTube today so I guess it still counts. Last weekend I went SWIMMING WITH THE WHALE SHARKS at the Atlanta Aquarium and OMG it was amazing! A bucket list dream come true! Here's video footage of my swim if you wanna watch:

A boring day. I spent most of it running errands.

Another slow day. I wasn't feeling well so I took a nap and then tackled chores. Nothing exciting here!

Tonight I had a Dungeons & Dragons game with my work team!

Today I had a virtual lunch with my team! It was fun to hang out and chat with everyone.

Yesterday I flew in to see my family for the holidays. Originally I was scheduled to fly out Saturday but we're expecting a big storm here so I moved my travel up to try to beat it. The flights were bumpy and a little scary, I'm definitely glad I won't be flying in the weather they expect for today and tomorrow!

Thankfully the storm wasn't as bad as predicted for our area. It was a pretty chill Christmas Eve. I took a long nap in the afternoon and wrapped presents in the evening.

Had Christmas with the fam. It was pretty good, really nice to see everyone. I especially liked hanging out with my sister in the evening. [yes]

Had a chill day with my sister. We went thrifting and I found a couple shirts and a pair of cool skirts. It's still so cold here! The airport is closed until Wednesday now (it's been closed since last Friday). I really hope I'll be able to get back home ok. I searched for alternative flights at different airports and even Amtrack but there isn't anything. Fingers crossed everything opens back up for Friday!

I hung out with my sister in the morning and then headed over to my dad's house for the evening. Nothing terribly exciting there. It's so cold here! We're all hanging out by the wood pellet stove to stay warm.

It was a mostly chill day at my dad's house. We went uptown to run errands but the shelves were pretty bare in the grocery store. Most stores here get stock out of Buffalo and with everything shut up there they haven't gotten their usual shipments. The biggest excitement of the day was loosing my favorite scrunchie. I'm typically very careful with my possessions and very rarely lose anything so I'm pretty sad about it. [cry]

Today was my last day with my dad. It's always so hard to say goodbye to my family. I'm back at my mom's now for one last night and then heading to the airport in the morning. Fingers crossed that all goes well for getting home!

I managed to make it home, yayyy! It definitely feels good to be back. Now to get all my home stuff back in order, lol!

It's hard to believe it's New Year's Eve already! This year just zoomed by. Nothing crazy happened over here. I ran some errands to get groceries and whatnot and did laundry, cleaned house, mostly boring stuff. At midnight I went out on my balcony to watch the fireworks! The view wasn't as good this year but that's alright. At 1:00 am I randomly thought about dying my hair. Any color suggestions?! [lol]

Anyway, time to make a new jar I guess!
