Fallen by Lauren Kate
 

Has anyone else read this? It's about a girl who gets transferred to a new school against her will and meets a guy there, Daniel, who flips her off / ignores her / does everything he can to show he doesn't like her, but she's so totally crazy in love with him.

Without giving anything away, it's supposed to be a fantasy love story, but it just left me disappointed. Kate builds up characters at the beginning and then... you don't see them for the 2nd half of the book at all. It's paced really badly, in my opinion, and I don't know, I was really hoping for more.

Did anyone else read it? What did you think?

I liked it, personally. Pretty amped to read Torment. (The next one)

I really liked it...one of my professors gave it to me. I get all confused about the reincarnation thing and the twists were like "Whoa!" a few times but I look forward to reading Torment.

yes i've read it, its an amazing book, have ur read the second, called torment? its really good, and i think the third one (it isnt out yet) will be called passion, but im not fur sure

I have the book but where I have been busy with senior project and other things I haven't had a lot of time to read it but where the end of the year is slowing down and I have christmas break coming up. I think I will read it.
