I am late for this party! - Now entering the final countdown!
Hi guys! I've been checking in on the Jubilee through the week, but haven't had time to actually chat and participate.
But I am here now (better late than never) so come hang out and talk with me. :D Also, I am pretty confused about the story for this event (and the rest of the events this year [sweat]). 'Fraid to say I have no idea what the story is either. I wasn't here for the last one, and I guess they're connected. Something to do with the NPC's being kidnapped? I dunno... I'm just enjoying a change to get items without having to pay gold for them. Hahah

Haha, yes, free items are always fun during event time. I've got my eye on the Estella set, but I want to get some of the rares first.

Okay - basically what happened was that back in February we went on a cruise for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately we were attacked by pirates who ended up abducting Mr. Mayor! We fought valiantly and won him back but we ended up losing some other NPCs on the way. Around Easter time, Mr. Mayor decided to prevent further abductions, he was going to bring back his brigade of angel bunnies who would become his protectors. Little did he know that evil Peeblo was planning an attack. Peeblo tried to lure Mr. Mayor's angelbunnies to the dark side with a promise of black angel wings. But Peeblo tricked us all and those wings turned into a moldy carrot! Mr. Mayor and the angel bunnies defeated Peeblo in the end!
We decided to go on another cruise for the Phoenix Jubilee so that we could search for the remaining NPCs. We had to transform the vessel into a ship ready for battle. Because of that, we stopped in Duval, known for it's battle air ships. We celebrate our Phoenix Jubilee in search of the missing NPCs! |

Edit: Yes, the items are nice this time. The EIs didn't make much sense to me though, until Maria clarified the story for me. |

I havent been on much for any Jubilee, but all Mene events are fun. -nod- I think my favorite would be the Celes events.

Oh yes, Celes Paradi is a good event too. I really like that Mene went with original holidays instead of actual-world ones. I like the Winter Nights, event a lot too.

Originally the event was supposed to end sometime today, but last night we got notice of an extension until the 23rd.
