Oohh I watched a few episodes of fruits basket back in the day. I am not super familiar with fruits basket, so I can't say which other ones are similar. But I did love Cardcaptor Sakura around the same time.

After watching Fruits Basket you'd better go to the manga because the anime covers like 1/10 the story of the manga [lol]
