January 7th This is a very difficult day for me. My cousin who was supposed to be born the same day as myself isn't with us anymore. He was born late, and I was born early. so we have always been close. I wasn't told when he passed away, I was overseas. My Godmother felt there was nothing I could do so she chose not to upset me while alone. I resented it for awhile but now have come to understand she was looking out foer me. I couldnot have made the funeral and I would have had to grieve alone so I respect her decision...now. i miss you cousin and am no longer mad at you. I will call our mother and remember you today. [angel] I hope she is having a tolerable day today, though I doubt it very much. she hasn't been the same since. |
