Love Story: A 'Guess the Movie' Contest:: Round Two is Up!

♥Ah, Valentine's Day♥ It's the perfect time to grab your hunny and watch romantic comedies to your heart's content, basking in the glow of your young love! Or better yet: make friends with a tub of Häagen-Dazs, get your hands on some tear-jerking tragedies, and just be thankful that you're not tied down to a handsome idiot who's going to end up dying by the finish. Either way, you can't deny that a great romance film is the way to go. But how well do you know these classic love stories? Can you tell a Casanova from a Romeo? Knerd and Spring`Tyme Fresh present to you a challenge: Listed below are fifteen screencaps from famous romance films. We dare you to tell us the name of the movie they each came from. Some screencaps are blatantly obvious, while others are darn near impossible. But each and every one of them represents an amour so strong that it fills the big screen. |
♥Rules♥
In order to compete in this event, you must abide by a few rules. They are pretty simple, so it shouldn't be too hard! So here they are: - Please don't discuss the screenshots or give hints within the thread. Do not post your lists within this thread or share your answers with other users. This is considered cheating, and you will be banned from the contest. - Only one entry per user, - We ask you submit entries with your main account. We can check to see if anyone is trying to submit more than one with their mule account, - The event is split into two sections. For the first section, entries won't be accepted after midday on Thursday 14th. Entries for the second section end at the same time as the event, - All pm's must be titled, "Love Story Entry", which includes the entry form as seen in the next post and finally, Failure to abide by these rules will result in said users exclusion from the event. Please please please only send in one entry. If you suddenly remember the correct answer right after hitting the "Send" button, then I'm afraid you're out of luck. ♥Prizes♥
Yes, it's the part you've all been waiting for! There will be six winners in total, a first, second and third place for both sections of the event. It is awarded by whoever gets the most correct answers. In the event of a tie, the user who submitted their entry first will receive the higher place. Here is what you will win: 1st place - 1.5k worth of Valentine's Day event commons (at full price) 2nd place - 1k worth of Valentine's Day event commons (at full price) and, 3rd place - 500 gold worth of Valentine's Day event commons (at full price). These prizes apply to both the Classic and Modern day sections of the event. |

I've been a member of this site since last May and have been on staff since late August. Even though I'm not a big fan of Valentine's Day, I've loved putting this contest together and helping with the event. I just hope that you guys enjoy it as much as I do! Now it's time to hear from ... Spring`Tyme Fresh! Hey everyone! If you didn't know, I'm Springy and have been part of Menewsha since April 2007. This will be my 3rd event since joining the site and also as being part of the staff. All of these "Modern" films came out in the past 20 years or so. There's a good chance that they were made in everyone's lifetime here.

a lot of these films look like they come from the 80's, early 90's.. I know like..three of them though..lol.
