Yeah, I've been slowly getting into pixel again. I stopped dolling in the mean time, though because I want to see how good is my work without bases. (spoiler, it sucks) And yes, I have a deviantART under the same name, NeuzaKC. ^^
I didn't know the english dubs were that bad. The dubs in my country were pretty good, except Luna was a male cat while in the original version she's a female. |

There's the 'usual' English censoring of violence and death as well as the randomly cutting and rearranging scenes. They edited out any references to homosexuality too. I found some of the voices annoyingly high pitched but that might just be me.

Well, on the plus side, they didn't give her a sex-change operation. XD I mean, when me and my friend found out Luna was a female cat we freaked out. "They changed the cat's gender, how did this happen?!" But considering other sailors (the trio) were dudes and when they changed they grew boobs, I guess making Luna a dude doesn't sound so bad. XD @Kat: What references? I mean, the show was quite ambiguous when it comes to sexuality and gender, but I never saw anything out of the ordinary. |

They changed Zoisite into a woman and Sailor Neptune and Uranus are cousins rather than lovers.

But it's freaking obvious that they're lovers from the way they act. =/ If there's one good thing in this anime is exactly that, I don't understand why would there be censorship. And who's Zoisite? Different country, different names, so I don't know who that is. XD

Oh bollocks. I have no idea. There's no info on that character at all, not even in the Sailor Moon related articles... Because we, for example, call the main character Bunny, when her original name is Usagi Tsukino, and Sailor Jupiter's name is Maria instead of Makoto. There are a lot of switches, no wonder I can't tell who's who. XP

Usagi means rabbit, in the English language manga I've seen everyone calls her Bunny. Some of the name changes aren't too bad like Amy for Ami and Raye for Rei. I'm still glad they seem to keep more names nowadays.

Yeah, if the original names are too japanese, I can understand translating them, absolutely. I'm just saying sometimes the names here don't make much sense. XD I'm pretty sure for example the Digimon characters are all switched (or almost all), because they're very un-english, if that makes sense. XD
