Mythos & Mayhem

I have terrible timing, you see, terrible indeed. I won't be able to create any event artwork for my first Phoenix Jubilee nor will I be able to participate very much because of my current schedule.

What I would like to do is have a place I can chat with people when I'm giving my brain a nice little rest and hopefully where people can also talk amongst themselves.

So how are you all doing?
Are you having a good April?
Did you get pranked on the first?
What will happen next with Muscle Moose and Sailor Squirrel?

For today only...
If you are so inclined... GET YOUR BUTT INTO THIS LIVESTREAM!
>>>>>> And by that I mean this one right here <<<<<<

I'm just trying to blow off some steam after a very frustrating few days and one very frustrating night without sleep. I'm running on pure gumption right now. x_x;;

Heya, Mythos~

No pranking going on this year, but I did manage to snag a job today. <3

Also, passed a few tests for college. *nods*
Busy this event. D:

Sorry to hear about your feet and legs but I'm glad you're having a good April. I'm alright besides the workload (it's university work) though besides the rate at which I'm writing it's going fairly well. I just had a due date jump out at me from the blue. Bleh. [gonk]

The moose/squirrel thing is a gag from my livestream during the St. Patrick's day event. ; )

Mythos 04-17-2013 01:29 AM

Hi Long!

Yeah, unfortunately, xu. At some point I will learn better. :P

~LONGCAT~ 04-17-2013 01:33 AM

Myth's a crazy grad student who's overworking herself anyways. [t2h]

xuvrette 04-17-2013 01:34 AM

It'll come sooner or later. I just couldn't sit still any longer than I did. : \

~LONGCAT~ 04-17-2013 01:51 AM

Whelp, won't be the strangest thing I've befriended. *shrug*

fireprincess 04-17-2013 01:51 AM

Mythos [hug]
I'm sorry you have such a busy schedule.

xuvrette 04-17-2013 01:56 AM

Lox7catcat~ O__O What is the most strangest thing you befriended? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...mote/crazy.gif

Mythos 04-17-2013 01:56 AM

rofl, Long xD

I am too, fireprincess. I really wanted to finish your picture asap.
I think I only really get the itch to color things when I have a deadline like this... it's not very good for productivity. xD

fireprincess 04-17-2013 02:12 AM

Lol XD
Oh that's ok. I have been literally nonstop with school too, so I know how hectic it is [yes]

I gave a speech on Monday and we had to do a Q & A after everyone's speech as part of the assignment, and a guy chewed me out for 15 minutes about why homeschooling was bad, and everything I said was wrong. (I spoke about the benefits of homeschooling by the way XD)

~LONGCAT~ 04-17-2013 02:15 AM

Hmmm... *thinks long and hard* I had a shed cicada skin that I kept around for about half a year, he had a name, I think it was Orson. zthen there was my tower fan in freshman year of college, we gave him a mustache and a hat and called him Samson. THEN there's my friend Pete who's mediated debates between a toad and a small tree, learned all the ferns of New York by taste, came to class regularly drunk and with his parrot in his jacket, among many other crazy things.

I attract crazies :P

Mythos 04-17-2013 02:17 AM

Sounds like a strongly opinionated person without filters... I wonder if he's know people who have been home schooled.

One of my best friends growing up was and despite switching back to public school in 7th grade she could have easily started back at a sophomore level. The only fault I could find in homeschooling is the socialization of the child... many have a hard time getting used to being around so many people their own age when they enter into university or public schooling (like she did).

*shrug* I hope it went well besides Mr. Babbermouth.

O_o wow... those are pretty eccentric-- especially the fern guru parrot individual.

fireprincess 04-17-2013 02:33 AM

He said he had a cousin or something that was... I think.
I was homeschooled for 6 years and 8 grades, so the speech I gave covered everything he argued about. I don't think he really even listed though. He heard the words home schooling and just became close minded and didn't even give me a chance. I understand though about the socialization. I had a little trouble with people my age, but for me it was because of the people I used to be friends with.
It did go well besides that. I found out 2 other people in my class were homeschooled as well

~LONGCAT~ 04-17-2013 02:35 AM

I like my friends a bit on the off-kilter side. ;3 Makes them more interesting.

Ascadellia 04-17-2013 03:19 PM

I'm here for a few moments. XD
Figured I could use the tokens.

xuvrette 04-17-2013 03:29 PM

I would like to be home school.
Being in school all my life, I always have a year of segregation/boycott by classmates. x.x
So, Home schooled doesn't mean they are bad in communication/socialization.

Ascadellia 04-17-2013 03:29 PM

D: That's no good..

xuvrette 04-17-2013 03:36 PM

Oh well, I survivied. I dreaded the treatment, of course, but I am kinda strong willed. XD I didn't turn bad. O__O amazingly.

Ascadellia 04-17-2013 03:39 PM

That's good, then!

Sucks when people treat others wrongly. >.<;

Give them a good kick in the rear.
