I don't spend it unless it's on my quest list and I play the games everyday and sell CIs. It adds up. :) Oh and art contests.

Honestly, if the site's looking for efficient gold sink, there is great potential in this, releasing stores with some colors/theme for half price. Works not just for event new commons, but old ones, too!

I think it was cool that they surprised us with this. But I don't think I'd want it for every event. Or else people would just save their money and wait til the appropriate event and never buy anything at full price.

But I'd def love it as a surprise every once in a while!
