When I was in 5th grade, a big cat was brought in to school for all of us kids to look at. It was probably a cougar. Tranquilized and asleep. I remember petting it and finding out it smelled like pee.

Little Wrong's huffing adventure. How cute. And no Fair! All they let us touch was owls, and even then they made us feel like we weren't worthy and that we could be bite at any moment.

I'm probably the only weirdo who always tries to get to the reptile/snake/fish parts of the zoo xD My family growing up always wanted to go see the giraffes and monkeys and stuff. But I much prefer the fishies ^_^

Reptile and insect house for me too. :) Butterflies landing on you and playing with stick insects was my jam.

I know right :c I am slightly upset. I was looking forward to seeing the community get together again. I love events. Thank you, though! I'm going to Spain [:D] for the first time. I am excited hehe. Are you going anywhere this summer?

I do love the zoo. Especially reptile enclosures :)

I don't know if it is possible to send a reminder email out to everyone right before the event starts? otherwise I will try my best to remember. I just don't want to accidentally miss it :D

I'm deciding which of these scaly critters to pixel today.

Aligator , Crocodile, Komodo Dragon or Tortoise.

What do you guys think? I'm leaning toward Komodo Dragon

tbh I am truly fond of turtles.

Tor.tols are my favorite.

Sweet! If anyone needs me I will be tracking down my people, i.e. the otters. Well squirrels are my people too but you don't have to go to the zoo to see them.

And on that wild and weird note, I think this one needs sleep.

Anyone else see those videos of little kids at the zoo with their backs to the big cats and the kitty is stalking up behind them and then wham! They try to get the kid but the glass stops them and the parents laugh? Secretly wish that one day that glass wasn't there. [ninja]
