Project Mene- Holiday Edition

Project Mene as a contest is one of the longest running Avatar contests on Mene, running strong with 9 consecutive cycles is has become a well respected contest that Menewsha's have come to love and cherish. Until recently Project mene was run by our very own Seiki Nova whom was a good leader and of course a belove fashionista. Seiki has won multiple Admin's Picks as Well as Multiple User's Picks. But even mene's greatest fashionista has a busy life and with a busy life comes the sad departure from ownership of the beloved Project Mene.

For the very first time, project mene will be run by miss Cora Lorington! Cora Lorington has been an active memeber of Menewsha since October 2008, and joined the project mene family shortly thereafter. Ever since she has been an active member of the Project Mene Team. In light of Cora taking over she has decided to hold a little Holiday hangout/contest thread for multiple reasons. To celebrate the Project Mene Cycle ending (btw-Congrats to Maria, as well as a fond farewell to Seiki) and also to gain support for the future of Project Mene. It would be nice to have some New blood around the Place.

So Pull up a chair, chat with cora, and win some prizes along the way.

1) The person with the most posts in this thread, disregarding Cora, will receive a nice prize at the end of things.

2) For every ten pages the thread gets a random person on that page gets 100g, for every one hundred pages we get EVERY person, one per person, on that page gets 100g. If we reach page 1000, every person on that page gets 200g and one person gets 1000g.


Avatar Contests:
1) In the spirit of the holiday’s I am doing two holiday themed project mene style contests. For the first I would like you all to dress up your avatars a holiday decoration. I do not want your avatar to be decorated for the holidays I want you to BE the decoration. Please Provide a reference picture with your entry.

Entries:
2) For the second contest I want you guys to create a holiday themed free for all contest entry. The main catch, do it in 10 items or less.

3) Judging will be done by myself.
4) Anyone can join, this is completely separate from the main contest so none of those rules apply.

Create a Cycle:

Ok guys, this is the only contest right now that is directly related to the main Project Mene Competition. I have the next two cycles pretty much road mapped out but I want to speak to you guys. I am opening this up for competition. Create a cycle theme as well as a few round idea’s. The best idea will be getting a eggplant hibiscus bloom as well as 5k. But any other idea I find useable will receive a little something as well.

Project Mene sounds so fun, but I'm a little timid to join..

@Clair- there will be some avatar contests, maybe a banner contest, certainly some posting contests.

@luna- don't be, no one in them will put you down for trying. I have found that project mene improved my avatar skills all the time.
