I have decided to open this thread for general discussion on the Menewshan Exchange forum. Please use this thread to discuss anything to do with buying and selling items (commons or rares) on Menewsha or to ask any questions you may have about buying or selling on Menewsha. The Rare Item Guide Sub-Forum can show you a list of all rare items. To get an idea for their prices, head on over to the Marketplace to see items currently for sale and past sale data. |
I believe this thread is self-explanatory, but here are a few basic guidelines.
1. As always, please follow the Menewshan ToS at all times. 2. Please stay on topic. Inflation and pricing questions are appropriate topics of discussion for this thread; NPC love affairs are not. 3. Please do not initiate sales in this thread; that is what your exchange thread is for. |

I definitely believe that the games are inflating every thing.
Thats were a huge chuck of people get most of their pure. |
zOmG iNfLaTiOn suXXX i h8 iNfLat0rZz No seriously though, I agree with Chidori. Many people earn 1k+ a day from the games. It's ridiculous that nothing has been done about gold-earning from the games yet. Some people openly admit that they don't really post in the forums and just play games. |
I know. you buy coins and then you give a coin to play the games. And thatl keep people from making too much money. just like an arcade.

I know they've adjusted the space-invaders game gold gain, which changed from 50g for me to about 10g per play.
I agree though. Tetris only takes a few minutes to get 50g, and I've seen a lot of people earning 1k+ as well within just a day(although they're obviously playing for several hours). One person I did commons transactions with earned about 600g to buy some commons within just a few minutes. |
What about 10 plays a day for each game??
The games are good for those who could sit at the front of the computer for hours just playing. And it is also good for those who does not have any talented skills to sell arts or pixels. At least they have the games to HELP them complete their quests. (like me, but I don't do the playing games for hours thing... o.x;) And it's bad for those who actually have a life, sucks at the games and prefers talking on the forums. I play games and chat so... >.>; I earn about 100g a day if I actually try. XD; I don't know there is the up and down with the games. But we can't completely blame it on the games. |
To be honest I think games are more or less "earned gold". Yeah some people make even 1k off it in a day but then what about art? If posting is the only way to earn gold, then other services would need to be closed down too.
I think the inflation is natural - the giving back auction will come back soon anyway, that should keep it so that newer members get a chance to get items. *nod* |
No but the give back auction is for selling rares only.

The giving back auctions are a temporary fix to the inflation.....once they run out of rares, there won't be anything to combat inflation running wild.

I can earn 1k a day on the games easily and have gotten 500g in an hour. But I usually only do that when an art slot is open so I can get more art. I could see how the games could inflate prices but like others have said artists get huge amounts of gold too. I have no marketable services so I really like the games.

People earn the most money out of tetris and snake.

The games have been quite a problem for a long time by mischief makers.
Although, I do agree you can't complain about people who sit there for hours making the gold themselves respectively. And for those who own shops for pixeling or regular art sellers. Also, for the people who do waste more than 24/7 on this site...over kill. Lol But you have to re-step your steps because we wanted more games to earn gold and they are there now. Of course more games are wished upon still, which is nice, but you know there'll always be gold glitches unless modified. On the other hand, the rares have been inflated to a ridiculous amount. Just 2 weeks ago the CIs just went to 600 gold a piece for a set and a week later it went to 50 gold + increase and now its going to 700 - 800 gold. This reminds of the gas prices that are now happening to all of us and it really just is depressing. But I would probably suggest the Admins having a CI sell for the first 20-50 buyers. After they hit the 20-50 limit, they close shop, thats an idea that just came to me...but I don't think it will happen. xD We'll just have to tough it through for now. |
I figured it up and if I played snake non-stop for 5 hours a day I could get 50k in 15 days. That seems really bad to me but if I did that they I did earn it. (I would be seeing that little snake for the rest of my life though.)
I don't think I would like a limit on the CIs sold because then a couple people could easily buy them all and make it really expensive for the rest of us to get them. Plus I have to buy them later in the month so I would not be able to get them. |
