Sleepover?
 

So I was hanging out on a thread earlier this week, and somehow the topic went to slumber parties, and I started thinking, could we do something like that here?

Everyone could put their avis in pajamas and gather on some threads to hang out and play slumber party games and maybe we could all make ourselves hot cocoa...

These are the ideas I have:

1. Scary stories thread
2. Pillow fight thread (rolling dice, probably)
3. Truth or dare thread
4. Mafia thread
5. Scavenger hunt thread

I'm very, very open to suggestions and critiques; what do you all think?

Also: I'm nosing around for people who might be interested in helping me out with planning... maidenroseheart: is going to run a thread or two. Anyone else interested?

I think it would be fun, and if it's run by users, it would be something that might encourage posting between events. Especially during times events are spread out.

lol, yes I was thinking about being in charge of the monster hunt (we can't have sesame street characters leaving cookie crumbles in our sleeping bags now can we), an avatar contest with several themes (who wants to attempt to be big bird?), and also one other one. Does twotickets remember the third one I volunteered for? Oh yes! A discount art shop for the user event only with all my art half off :D

Apparently if you microwave a marshmallow it makes for a cheap smores...

Good to know! Mai and I once tried roasting them over candles...

Can't say how long though... family secret.

Lighters worked pretty well, but the candles just made them turn black without actually melting them. Plus, we only had scented candles, so ... yeah... go with lighters.

I would love to participate in this~ Sleep overs make good rp events~! I'm going to keep my eye on this~

We are aiming for the end of May. Need to work out some details yet, see if some people can help with some of the smaller aspects, get permissions and advice from the staff...

It will be a lot of fun. We have a lot of planning, writing, and getting things in general ready. Also, I need to start stockpiling prizes. Other than that we are good to go!

End of may is Finals area isnt it?

all the schools I was in... the first week of may was finals and the weekend after that was graduation... and I've been in a lot of schools throughout Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska...
