I'm really bad at stuff like this, but I'll just jump right in and start.

I actually started off 2016 with the cool thing of making new online friends, who ended up being really awesome actual friends. We send each other gifts and keep in contact better than I am with my local friends even.
It's pretty crazy, but I'm glad I met such awesome people this year.
