Pheonix Jubilee was my first event. - LAST MINUTE RAFFLE!

In 2010. So this feels like a birthday to me, and I think that calls for a celebration.

So basically, for the last few months I've been buying three of every contribution item. One for me, one for my mule, and one to sell on the exchange. As I don't really use my mule, they aren't used to dress her much, so what I've decided to do is hold a thread where anyone can get their hands on one of these items.

Page prizes at multiples of 50, and if I have items left over at the end of the event, I might hold a raffle for the remaining items.

So come, chat, and maybe, just maybe, win an item you've always wanted.

And remember- if you're new, don't be afraid to come join in. I REMEMBER BEING YOU! (And it was scary, but we're a friendly bunch, so come say hi.)

EDIT: I went and checked my mule, and I have enough extras for us to get to 500 pages. I DO NOT THINK WE WILL NEED THAT MANY, but try to prove me wrong, I dare you.

I actually joined in february, but I was away over easter, so I didn't get to celebrate/participate in an event until Pheonix Jubilee. /the good old days.

And I'm really enjoying it Star! Are you?

Exciting! I haven't bought anything yet. I'm wating on the event items before I spend my tokens.

oh I'm talking enough to have enough tokens by the time they releaset hem 'nods' I'm a regular chatter box during events.

Ah, see I always have trouble with that, that's why I'm doing a thread with page prizes for this event, to keep me talking.

Ah well another reason im such a chatter box is star tends to help people out 'blush' if she can she gets them EI's they can't otherwise get and get their commons to. 'shrugs'

BAH no its not 'shakes head'. y ou just being nice.. star always does that on whatever site she's on because she had people help her a lot when she just started out. its the whole 'pass it on' thing. someone helps you, you help someone else it keeps the site a nice friendly place 'nods'

Even so, it's lovely that you're thinking of others. Not everyone remembers to keep the chain going.

meh.. its the one thing i do remember 'nods' i like helping..even if it sets me back a bit 'shrugs' its not like i can't go buy the items agian..

Exactly. That's why I like keeping an extra item around. I have a whole pile of raggedy dresses in my mule account as well, just in case a new person hits me up asking how to get clothes.

haha half the time i find hte new person and dump whatever i don't wear that often on them. 'shrugs' it's fu n to see them all happy.. i know i u sed to go over board hyper on a perosn who donated to me. in fact i still keep in touch with a few of htem when their online 'nods'.

Hi there~ ooo... I even forgot what was the theme for Phoenix Jubilee... hmm....

It's usually kind of a steampunky theme. It's a celebration of the harvesting of the Pheonix Orchid (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong). Menewsha usually divides into two teams to repair/maintain a ship, and harvest the Orchid. It's a lot of fun.

Yeah... the Phoenix Orchid, I remember the EI of that orchid.
...yet I am surprised how is it themed up with steam punk... O__O

i was working on an avi for Nephie's aviconffle

Xuvie: It's to do with the NPCs that used to visit during this time. Back when the events were coded. (The 2010 one was coded, the only coded event I took part in, from memory.) It was really cool. The NPCs arrived on an airship, and the teams had to fix or sabotage it. (In hindsight, that event was really complicated, and I didn't talk to many people, I like this type better)

Hummy: Well, whatever it's for, it's cute as a button.

yeah... look at the first Phoenix Jubilee items... none of them is steampunk... O__O
and now... it is steampunk infested... x.x

and... I kind of lost track of all the happenings of NPC and their storyline...

Well I dunno then. *dramatic shrugging* I still love the event.
