I'll toss out a couple of ideas to start the chatting.

What are you planning on having for Easter lunch, dinner or dessert?
What food do you like best at your family gatherings?

If grilled asparagus is on the menu, you can count me as happy.

I can't say that I have ever had grilled asparagus.
Sounds interesting...I will have to try it when the weather gets warmer & we start grilling out again.

Usually it's just coated in olive oil and grilled till slightly charred. The flavours complement each other so well, it's heaven.

Miscreant said he has had it & likes it.
I'll be back later maybe, not sure how long the movies are tonight.

I'm hoping for Chilli Cheese Dogs. It's been a family tradition for us as we are lazy non-conformists. However I live with my future in-laws and they're probably making ham. :I

I want a nice scone, anyone got one? [drool]

I had some frozen ones, but I think they just ran out.

I've never made scones, but my mother likes to make them.
I would say I would see about getting the recipe from her, but she still hasn't given over the recipe for meatloaf yet & it is the priority.
I want to make some mixed berry muffins.

No I'm not really planing anything. My daughter is going over to the ex in laws place for it.

Our families wait til the last minute to plan anything so we aren't going.
We'll be spending the day with Avalei instead.

Being the heathen that I am I'm not really doing anything for Easter. When the kids were little we used to do the whole egg hunt thing, but nobody was really into it this year.

I think I'll treat myself to a bottle of wine, make spaghetti and watch the tee vee tonight. Got the Walking Dead season finale and the opener for Game of Thrones! [eager]

FOOD! [drool]

I'm personally a fan of thumbprint cookies.
2 cups of flour
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup of sugar.
Frequently though, I'll add more butter, anywhere from half a stick to a full additional stick.
Then jelly or jam of your choice. Recipe says strawberry, but we've always got Grape jelly handy, and it's what I always use.
