Actually FINISHED an Rp
 

I can't contain my joy and most shout out to the entire rp community here! Me and my friend Wings of Writing have just finished an rp. As in, there is a beginning, middle, and end in the true sense of a story arc. It is a finished product which at some later date, will be edited and published.


And since this is a discussion forum not a Kat raves to herself forum...
Anybody else finished an rp before? Does it feel this awesome for you?
Am I the only one that craves ending my stories?!!

I finished one on gaia once, It was called "A war of Two worlds" surprisingly it was actually a group RP >.>

Wow. I've never heard of a group rp ending before. o.o That must have been intense.

hahaha. I"m so ecstatic. I think this might be my fourth (?) rp ending. But this one feels like it's worth a lot more because we really set out to tell a story not just writing posts.

How do you know when an RP is finished? :O

It was a small group of 5 of us. It ran over the course of 4 years (2003-2007) and spanned well over 10,000 pages by the time we were done.

lord that is long Cora! Though I imagine Life Studies would be about 1000 pages in word if not more.

Wishie, when you've told the entire story. not just had it fizzle out.

the same way you know a novel is finished? You feel it in your gut! and the plot finishes.

holy crap Cora. I'm just amazed that many people could stick with a story for so long. I've never had that kind of luck.

But I've finished two or three rps before in hs. They were so short though comparatively.

It takes serious tenacity to finish a story. It's no joke.

some serious tenacity and a willingness to keep writing through long hiatuses.

now I feel like I need to find a partner worth finishing a story with lol.

'cause yeah, Life studies probably has at least a year of down time if you count it all up.

It is. I'd love to count it all up some time.

i want to know how many pages it ends up being.

I know I put a bunch of it in a word doc at some point. I should still have it...I know it was A LOT of pages.

yeah and that wasn't all of it cuz we've added like 20+ pages since then. i could probably find it too

wow that is great. I don't know the feeling yet. I just started rping on here I hope I will get the chance to finish some time.

Cool, I hope you guys save it. I'm sure it was worth it. I always heard when people finish a rp, they tend to save it or copy it to a file on a word pro or something. I know I would.

Yeah, it's all copied to our computers now. We had to at least check the word count, but of course we needed the file if we're going to edit and publish it.

I once completed a,rp on gaia but it was a guild. small group rp it was nice rp.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's finished rps.
