Channah's Charity Auctions

Gossip around town is there was quite a kerfuffle on the boardwalk during the summer of 2017. The Auctioneer was seen packing his bags ready to set sail for who knows where. He muttered something about a cursed ledger before he left. . . pfft. Who believes in that sort of nonsense.

Anyway I cornered him and bought his goodies for pennies on the dollar. I still got it!

Truth be told that summer heated spat is what lead to these fancy new auctions I'll be holding. It's been too long since I've done my life's work for charity. Feels good to be back.

Here's the skinny kids;

Every 3-4 weeks I'll be holding an auction. The proceeds of which will be going towards our Charities and Questers. Don't like the item currently being auctioned? TOO BAD! *cough* I mean check back often to see if your heart's desire is available.

Some simple rules for you no good kids

Respect each other and Menewshan posting rules.
None of that collusion business during my auctions! Show an old gal some respect and things will be just peachy. If not. That's a smack from a heavy purse and public mockery for you!
No crying! I'll give you something to cry about you ungrateful little.[illgetu]
Make sure you have the gold before bidding. I ain't got room to hold these things in the attic ya know.
I'm to old for your tricks and if I feel I need to change or add to these rules. Then gosh darn it I will!
Case in point. Snipers no sniping! Make your interest in the auctions known before the last day of the auction.

October 2018 Winners!
Lot 1 was taken by Emma Corin with a high bid of 2000g while Kent was the highest bidder for Lot 2 with a bid of 2500g.

February/March 2018 Winners!
Lot 1 was taken by Kent with a high bid of 7700g. Meanwhile, hummy swiped lot 2 right off the market with an tidy 4100g.

December 2017 Winners! Quite the bidding war! Suona eventually won out though with a 2700g bid. Tough as nails! Turns out the other participant was just trying to buy the item for the other! How sweet! All you kiddos are killing me with your kindness!

hummy won lot 2 with 2800g! December '07 CI set! What a special set! I haven't seen them there thingys in over a decade! I wonder where Magnus found those? hummy was clearly too excited with her win as she forgot to say a little something something to the camera! That's ok though, way to go hummy!

Ah, I do have the gold on my mule. Does that mule mean you'd rather we had the gold on our main? The rule just sounded like make sure you had it if you're going to bid.

There doesn't seem to be a rule about sniping. Does that mean new people can bid on items at any time?
