Who: A young adult female with neither pale nor tanned skin, long brown hair, brown eyes, and a positive or determined personality.
What: Jeans. Layered shirt: tank top over a tshirt, tshirt over long-sleeves, hoodie with long shirt under it, or any other combo of shirts.
When: Sunset
Where: In any anime universe. Preferably Fairy Tail, InuYasha, or Zoids.
Why: Either traveling or fighting...
How: I really like traditional art. However, I have come to appreciate graphics tablets so if you want to do line art or something, I'm all for it.
Extra Details:
- I want "Mindy" or "MRH" or a play on my user name to be used here. Either in the boarder or in the picture or as a title on the picture itself.
- If you go for a Fairy Tail theme, please include a blue symbol of the Fairy Tail guild somewhere on the female's body. If need be, you can change her outfit to a dress with a slit on the side and boots OR you can change her outfit to that of a samurai like Erza Scarlet might wear. Also, if there was any way to place the symbol of Fairy Glitter from Fairy Tail in the picture somehow, I would be super excited.
- If you want to go with any other theme, I really like western, large wings, elf clothing, armor, and ... well... anything none horror related. In fact, surprise me! Just get the "who" details right and I'll be happy :) Just wanted to make sure my preferences were in there.
- My favorite color is dark green ;) I'm a slight romantic so the idea of being saved by a guy is super sweet just as standing beside him together through hard times is.

I can't make any promises if I'll manage to get something together by the end date but I'll definitely add it to my subscriptions!

If you need more time, I would gladly extend it. I am willing to extend my contests if I know that there is more art coming.

For me it's too soon to tell.
I know I can't work on it for a while at least, but May is a while away. I'll probably be finished with most of my projects by then (One would hope, at least!) so we'll see. I'll definitely let you know closer to the deadline. : )

So why the pirate avatar? Any particular thing inspire you?

I like piratey stuff and just finally saved up enough for Pirate Booty... wanted to combine the items I had that could be used together and this worked ^_^

I'm not too good with drawing without references >.< And I don't draw backgrounds. And I work with bases only so I don't think I could really do this justice >.<

Did I miss something or there is no... prize pool?

There is not really a prize pool exactly... I am buying CIs and putting some aside for the winners. The first place winner can choose three CIs of their choice and the second place winner two CIs of their choice and the third place winner a CI of their choice. I haven't decided on the first entry prizes yet. Any suggestions?

hmm... but are the items already in posession?
As in, what are the CI up to offer? Or you have all CIs?

To be honest, I think art contest in this forum is a bit... x.x dim. Not even the one with 07 Vday EI did very well...
well, it could be because of lack of advertisement or that time was not good for art contest... *shruggs*
