Not all battles call for brute force. As rogues, we know that there's more to any situation than what's outwardly displayed. We've learned how to look for the message behind the words, to pinpoint an enemy's weakness, to manipulate a setting so that we have an advantage, and could most likely break into your house and steal your cookies if we felt like it. But don't worry, we probably won't. At least not right now - we're on a job, here!

• It's simple - just post the form once per day (rolling over at 9PM Pacific) to attempt to beat the given challenge.
• Once the enemy's hit points reach zero, we've won and can divide up the loot.
• For every day you play, you'll get one ticket for the loot raffle. (What you roll doesn't matter; you get credit for showing up.)

Day 1 - Gathering Intel

The other teams have a pretty good idea of what they're up against already, but there's one foe that not much is known about yet. Word around the Grumbling Goddess is that someone, or something, has been tampering with goods meant for the Celes Paradi celebration. Shipments are being reported missing, or turning up in strange locations in poor condition.

Today's the day to call in favors from your contacts. Ask around, see what you can find out. And if that fails, some good ol' fashioned sneaking and snooping might be in order.



Day 2 - Disarming Traps

Wulp, you did your best at gathering intel and all things said, it wasn't half bad. You weren't able to ID the troublemaker specifically, but between you and your colleagues you managed to pinpoint its lair and determine a sure route to get there: through the sewers.

You gear up and begin to push your way through the twisty underground passage. More than a few yards in and ankle-deep in muck, you realize that not only does it smell awful down here; the place is absolutely riddled with traps. There's gotta be at least a hundred of them. But there's no time to turn back now -- you're going to have to disarm them if you have any hope of being in fighting-shape by the time you reach the bad guy.

Day 3 - Moving Silently-ish

You and your pals are awesome at dismantling stuff. You easily dispatched every last trap -- heck, if there'd been more you could've done 134 of those things!

The lair is just ahead. It's pretty dark in there, but you can make out piles of chewed-on bits and bobs, and you catch a glint of shiny every so often. The air smells musky and you think you spot the shape of some kind of beast at the far end of the chamber. If you can manage to sneak up quietly, you'll start the battle with an advantage.

Day 4 - Slaying Time!

Through an incredible display of stealth, a great majority of you (13 out of 19!) managed to move silently through the piles to the far side of the room -- your group caught up to your foe before it could slip away. And now you can finally see what you're up against..

It's.. a were-rat? Or, a were-small-faced-dog. Whatever - nobody expected you to be a cryptozoologist. What matters is it's standing between you and the loot.

Hmm.. you seem to be a bit off your game. Was it all the anticipation? Did you develop a sudden, crippling empathy for werethingies? Somehow, most of you (10 out of 18!) missed hitting the beast this round. You can't let that continue.. you'll be the laughing stock of the Grumbling Goddess!

You'd better stab extra hard if you plan to get out of this cave sometime this week!
