My name is Suzy Sunshine! I will be the Quest Guide for this little endeavor. We will be seeking the Elusive Queen Splendor that ran away from her lofty perch. Splendor, the Queen of the Sun, ruled all that she shown upon. Unable to leave her perch for centuries, for she had no successor, Splendor grew to dread her duties of shining and wanted to take a much needed vacation. So she wrote a hasty note, left it on her throne and stole away in the night, leaving for parts unknown.
Her timing could not have been more horrific! We can't have a Fun in the Sun URE if there is no sunshine to grace our festivities. [gonk] With the URE coming up in September, there is a real need to find Queen Splendor! This is the part where you, the Quester come in. You will be on the go, trying to find out where the Queen has decided to take a vacation. Can't say just how very thrilled I am that you have chosen to participate in this Quest for the Elusive Queen Splendor. Please follow me and I will tell you how you what you need to know about how you will find Splendor! |
Here is how you are going to find Queen Splendor: Questers will purchase weekly raffle tickets. These tickets enter you into the drawing for the chance to select the secret location of the elusive Queen Splendor. There are 54 possible locations Splendor could have chosen for her much needed vacation. Remember, I said this would be a hunt, combined with some luck, bursting with potential. This is where the bursting potential shines through: You find Queen Splendor and are rewarded for your persistence. The raffle ticket pot that has been growing...it's yours for the taking. Please note that while only one destination is where Splendor hides, each location will yield a monetary surprise. |
Now you know the who, the why and some of the how, here is the WHAT to do:
How to get your raffle tickets: Simple! 1. Send a donation to me, Suzy Sunshine! 2. Tickets will cost 20 gold each 3. No minimum to buy, no maximum either 4. Yes! You can purchase tickets for others, but remember, you want to be the one that finds Queen Splendor. 5. Ticket Sales will be weekly (This means, every week after the raffle winner(s) have been drawn, you will need to purchase tickets again for the coming week). 6. If your raffle ticket is called, you get to select one of 54 vacation destinations! (See next post for destinations) 7. Tickets will be drawn every Tuesday 8. You can purchase tickets until Monday at midnight, any donations received after that time will be put towards the next week's drawing. This raffle will go for 15 weeks, the first drawing being Tuesday, May 31st! The last drawing will be on September 6th, just before the URE starts on September 9th. To ensure that Queen Splendor is found before the URE starts, each week there will be 3 raffle tickets drawn, some weeks there will be 4 drawn. |

Disclaimer Post: This game in its whole and entirety is a way for the users planning and running the URE in September to earn some extra gold for prizes during the URE. 50% portion of all weekly ticket sales will be going towards the URE, with the remaining 50% being placed in the over all pot. |
